Senior Mission Advisor – Strategic Client

Location: Onsite at Fort Lauderdale Airport

As the onsite Senior Mission Advisor supporting one of our most strategic clients, you will become the primary operational liaison between their flight department and Universal. 

You’ll deliver high‑touch mission support, anticipate operational needs, and ensure end‑to‑end trip excellence, while operating directly from the client’s environment at Ft. Lauderdale airport.

This is a trusted‑advisorclient‑embedded, and high‑exposure position ideal for someone ready to elevate their career within TSS.

 

Key Responsibilities

Embedded Client Support

  • Serve as the onsite representative for Universal and build deep, trusted relationships with the client’s flight department.
  • Provide personalized, white‑glove support tailored to client operational standards.
  • Maintain consistent, real‑time communication with client dispatchers, schedulers, crews, and leadership.
  • Represent Universal professionally within a fast‑paced, dynamic client environment.

Mission Coordination & Trip Execution

  • Lead the full mission lifecycle from pre‑planning through post‑trip review.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (flight planning, weather, regulatory, accommodations, and more) to secure all mission services.
  • Monitor mission details for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with curfews and constraints.

Strategic / Special Care Account Management

  • Deliver elevated “special care” support for sensitive or high‑visibility missions.
  • Maintain a proactive understanding of client preferences and operational patterns.
  • Work closely with Portfolio Managers and QC to ensure data accuracy and profile integrity.
  • Identify and resolve issues impacting mission success.

 

Qualifications

Required

  • 3–4+ years of aviation operations experience, preferably with high‑touch client support.
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional service in a dynamic, client‑driven operational environment.
  • Strong communication and customer‑relationship skills.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail, including flight planning interpretation and database navigation.
  • Ability to work onsite 5 days a week and adapt to changing operational needs.

 

Work Environment

  • 100% onsite at the client’s facility located in Ft. Lauderdale airport.
  • Monday–Friday schedule with flexibility for client activity.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
