The role of the Senior Microbiology & Virology Leader – Professional Hygiene is to drive research excellence, innovation, and project team leadership at Arxada in microbiological and virological testing within both a non-GLP and a GLP-compliant framework. Based in Alpharetta, Georgia, this role plays a critical role in advancing Arxada’s GLP and adjacent microbiology programs that support the development and regulatory registration of antimicrobial products and related testing services. The position offers strong growth potential within the organization, contributing to both strategic expansion and operational excellence in the Microbial Control Solutions (MCS) division.
The role holder will be a key member of cross-functional team (e.g., Marketing, Sales, R&D, Reg) that serves as technical lead for growth strategy projects. The individual will deliver on the technical programs with Marketing, Regulatory, and R&D leaders.
They will seek to deliver scientific knowledge and insight that bring the industry’s understanding forward with new information and are simultaneously aligned to customer/market requirements for the assigned business or product portfolio.
A primary focus for this role will be on the Professional Hygiene business with a particular view to supporting the implementation of new or revised strategic initiatives but will also support disinfection projects in the consumer space for Home and Personal Care, and work with company-wide experts in other divisions, as needed.
The expected salary range for this role is 110.000,00$ - 150.000,00%, but specific employee compensation may vary depending on factors including experience, education, training, licensure, certification, location and other job-related, non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
This role is also eligible to earn a short-term incentive bonus and the following benefits: 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, paid time off, paid holidays and paid sick leave.
