About the Team:
. The QualityOne Data Pipeline team designs, builds, and operates resilient ETL pipelines that aggregate, validate, and deliver clinical and operational data for analytics and quality reporting. We develop critical systems that handle quality measures and generate CCDA documents, directly impacting patient care and outcomes. We are a dynamic group responsible for building and maintaining large-scale data pipelines that process terabytes of data, creating robust databases for advanced analytics, and developing high-performance backend services for our user-facing applications.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate is a passionate problem-solver with a strong background in building scalable, cloud-native applications and data systems. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying complex solutions that blend data engineering and backend development. As a senior member of the team, you will be expected to take ownership of projects, mentor junior engineers, and drive technical excellence across the entire software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and maintain resilient and scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, nodejs and cloud-native technologies.
· Build and optimize large-scale data pipelines to process and analyze voluminous data, ensuring reliability and performance.
· Implement solutions on AWS, leveraging a wide range of services to build robust cloud infrastructure.
· Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
· Collaborate with product managers, and front-end engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
· Champion best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, CI/CD, and security.
· Take full ownership of the development lifecycle, from initial design and architecture through to deployment and operational support.
· Mentor junior engineers, provide constructive feedback through code reviews, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
· Contribute to technical roadmap discussions and drive innovation within the team.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
· 4+ years of professional experience in software development.
· Strong proficiency in Java, node js and extensive experience with the Spring Boot framework.
· Hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying applications on AWS.
· Solid understanding of microservice architecture, including design patterns and best practices.
· Proven experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
Preferred Qualifications (A Strong Plus):
· Experience writing and optimizing complex SQL queries in a data warehouse environment like Snowflake.
· Familiarity with data orchestration frameworks such as Apache Airflow.
· Experience working in the healthcare industry, particularly with value-based care, quality measures, or clinical data standards like CCDA.
· Experience using AI tools to enhance the productivity.
· A proven track record of working with high-volume, large-scale data systems.
