Requirement
Education/Training:
• Minium in Bachelor degree, Master degree or above is preferred
Work Experience:
• Master advanced degree in clinical / life science qualification with at least 1-year relevant working experience
• Bachelor’s degree with strong medical background with at least 3+ years relevant working experience
• Experience in pharmaceutical company is preferred
Required Pre-requisites Skills/Experience for This Position:
• Thorough knowledge and experience of the healthcare industry and field based medical science liaisons
• Ability to interact and manage a range of stakeholders both internally and externally
• Knowledge of legislation relevant to sales and marketing
• Self-management and execution ability
• Understanding of multiple aspects within medical science liaisons
• Project management experience
• Fluent in spoken / written English
Duties and Responsibilities
Main Duties:
• Field-based workload: > 70%
• External Medical & Scientific engagement
Act as local scientific expert in the therapeutic areas to external stakeholders.
Set-up target HCP&KOL list, keep align with medical and business requirements.
Development and implementation of HCPs engagement plan in collaboration with line manager, develop visit plan with clear objective, key points, prepare the data to be shared and discussed.
Develop own scientific knowledge on all aspects of the data to be shared with HCPs through 1:1 or group discussions. Response to unsolicited requests for information in an objective, scientifically balanced, substantiated manner.
Develop or initiate medical programs (for example, Medical led scientific meeting, continuing medical education) to explore unmet medical needs in priority therapeutic areas. Design specialized sessions based on current trending or innovative topics in the field, fully communicate and elaborate with speakers; guide experts in regional conferences to facilitate discussions and proactively convey accurate scientific perspectives and academic information.
• Medical & Scientific Support for Internal Stakeholders
Provide the internal stakeholders with an understanding of the local medical community, clinical practice, competitor information and HCP insights.
Provide medical training to sales team as needed.
Provide scientific support at Galderma sponsored educational events, scientific research if any.
• Compliance
Clearly understand and aware of industry code and local country codes.
Ensure all execution complied with Galderma policies and procedures.
