Reporting to the Medical Project Leader, Medical Affairs, BeOne Japan
The (Senior) Project Manager will play a critical role within the project leader’s team in formulation and executing Japan's development strategy. This position acts as a hub for cross-functional members from R&D, Regulatory, Pharmacovigilance (PV), Medical, and Commercial departments.
The (Senior) Project Manager will be accountable for various activities throughout the drug development lifecycle, from the early stages drug development, through clinical trials, regulatory submissions, and post-launch Life Cycle Management.

Essential Functions of the Job:
Lead and manage a cross-functional project team to develop and execute projects for development assets and oversee Life Cycle Management initiatives in Japan.
Take responsibility for the project’s strategic direction and serve as the primary point of contact with the global team, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
Ensure project alignment with overarching company objectives and regulatory requirements while driving the team toward successful outcomes.
Develop an integrated development strategy, including a tailored medical strategy for Japan.
Accountable for advancing assets on schedule and meeting required quality standards.
Qualification Required:
Education Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate discipline
Preferred:
Master's degree, PMP, MBA holders are welcome
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Computer Skills:
Proficient in multiple computer-based tools, including software programs such as Word, Project, PowerPoint, Excel, etc. PC literacy is required, with expertise in MS Office and handling experience with Electronic Data Capture system.
Other Qualifications:
8+ years of professional experience in Medical Project Management, including relevant roles in pharmaceutical companies.
Proven experience in project leadership/management within pharmaceutical settings.
Strong leadership and project management expertise in a pharmaceutical development environment, encompassing multiple disciplines.
Experience in portfolio management of development products.
Knowledge and experience in drug development processes, including conducting clinical trials, interacting with regulatory authorities, new drug applications (NDAs), and successful product launches.
Experience in fostering collaborations and alliances with other companies is advantageous.
Travel:
Willingness to travel for business purposes, including visits to external stakeholders and attendance at major congresses.
