About the Role
The Senior Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing product marketing campaigns that support the overall marketing strategy for the division in order to enhance brand awareness, drive customer adoption, and support revenue growth. The Senior Marketing Specialist will need to think strategically and creatively to lead and execute marketing campaigns with measurable results. This role will need to manage relationships with multiple cross-functional teams such as sales and product to deliver results that align with Teranet’s objectives. The Senior Marketing Specialist will also work closely with the Graphic Designers, Digital Marketing Manager, and Operations team to ensure marketing initiatives are effectively integrated and optimized across various channels.
The Senior Marketing Specialist must have experience in B2B digital marketing, e-commerce strategies in a B2B environment, demand generation, and customer analysis to identify revenue opportunities, with the ability to understand and execute strategies to achieve commercial success. Strong planning, communication, and project management skills are crucial to success in this role.

What Will You Be Doing?
Design, plan, and lead the development and implementation of direct marketing campaigns to drive new leads for the sales team and drive adoption through the website.
Collaborate with Marketing Manager to understand the business objectives, product features, and benefits that drive content strategy and the creation of digital campaigns, customer communications, online content, and social media campaigns
Work with product and sales teams to develop customer insight strategy to find new opportunities for growth.
Develop a good understanding of the buyer personas, map out customer journeys, and understand how they interact/engage with Teranet solutions.
Manage the calendar of events and sponsorships, including end-to-end coordination of all related activities such as planning, logistics, communications, and internal alignment
Create concise, engaging, and compelling content across a range of media, including website copy, blogs, social media content, thought leadership articles, and product and sales information
Work with Marketing Manager to uncover opportunities for customers to ensure positive customer engagement and retention
Create a comprehensive communication plan that outlines the customer engagement strategy
Collaborate with brand marketing, sales, and product partners to build successful integrated marketing campaigns to generate desired business results and impact to support product roadmaps
Build and develop strong, collaborative relationships with agencies and key Marketing, Product, and Sales partners to deliver best-in-class direct marketing programs
Manage multiple projects and maintain a balance between the tactical focus on implementation and the strategic focus for new marketing opportunities delivering them in a timely manner
Maintain a budget for all campaigns and events
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
5-8 years Marketing experience
Experience planning and leading marketing campaigns with proven execution and delivery skills.
CRM and Marketing Automation software, such as Salesforce and Marketing Cloud, with strong understanding of workflows, audience segmentation, and reporting.
Hands-on experience designing and implementing multi-channel digital campaigns.
Demonstrated ability to apply SEO and e-commerce best practices to B2B content and website experience.
Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to present valuable insights and action them.
Superior project management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities and agendas.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with customer centric attitude.
Working knowledge of marketing research and surveys.
Team player with high energy and demonstrated initiative. Experience within the Geospatial/GIS industry an asset.

We believe in being upfront about pay and helping you make informed decisions about your career. The annual pay range for this role is $106,000 - $110,000 inclusive of base salary and target incentive pay. We understand that great talent comes in many forms, each with unique skills, experience, and potential. Your salary will be tailored to reflect the experience you bring and the impact you’re ready to have on this role.
