Brown & Brown is seeking a Senior Marketing Specialist to join our growing team in Roseland, NJ!
The Senior Marketing Specialist will assist the Marketing Department with new business and renewal marketing, including related activities of the Mid/Large Account Division in accordance with established policy, procedures and objectives.
How You Will Contribute:
Develop strategies to win new business
Disbursement and tracking of submissions to the marketplace
Follow up and negotiation of quotes with appropriate carries
Document all marketing activity in the agency management system (TAM) by maintaining an up to date marketing summary as well as QTAPs and QRECs
Ensure that systems, procedures, and insurance company regulations are adhered to by the department and alert management should any problems arise
Assist in the training and development of members of the Marketing team in a manner that enhances our agency’s image and level of service to our clients and companies
Identify, design, and implement marketing strategies for the Agency, encompassing new products and services, identification and selection of target markets, and tailored/unique coverages
Communicate new opportunities, market trends, and carrier information to all members of the commercial lines team
Adherence to the established marketing guidelines set by Marketing Leader
Offer flexibility in guidelines when accounts warrant it, per Marketing Leader approval
Rate new policies and complete applications and other required documentation
Prepare accurate proposals and coordinate the layout of the proposal and presentation with producers/account executives
Prepare invoices, applications and other required documentation to bind accounts
Transition bound accounts to the assigned Commercial Service Representative and Commercial Lines Leader with appropriate communication with Marketing Leader
Maintain constant communication with producers and Marketing Leader to avoid any surprises
Attend weekly marketing meetings
Pursue a program of personal and professional development
Licenses and Certifications:
Valid Property & Casualty Producer License
Insurance Specific Designations
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
Minimum of 7+ years' experience in an agency marketing role, generating commissions over $5,000
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Pay Range
$110,000 - $120,000 AnnualThe pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
