Senior Marketing Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Project Manager to lead and oversee complex marketing projects — including integrated campaigns, brand initiatives, and cross-channel programs — from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale marketing initiatives, leading and developing a team of project managers, and driving cross-functional collaboration to deliver results on time and within scope. This role requires strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a commitment to continuously streamlining processes and improving efficiency across a high-volume project portfolio. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing competing priorities and serving as a critical link between marketing, creative, and leadership teams.

You’ll Be Successful With

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; PMP or equivalent certification preferred, or minimum 5 years of experience in project management.
  • Experience in a marketing environment — agency, in-house creative team, or brand marketing — strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage large, complex projects and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Experience directly managing or mentoring a team of project managers preferred.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent projects while identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and improve processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving/critical thinking skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello). Experience in Workfront preferred.
  • The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Your Day Consists Of

  • Project Leadership: Leading and managing multiple marketing projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, brand standards, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Strategic Planning: Developing detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation across a high-volume project portfolio.
  • Team Management: Directly managing a team of three project managers, fostering a high-performing team culture through coaching, process alignment, and ongoing collaboration.
  • Team Collaboration: Partnering with cross-functional teams — including creative, marketing, and strategy — to ensure project objectives are met, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluating and improving project management processes, implementing scalable systems and best practices that increase efficiency and effectiveness across the team.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicating effectively with stakeholders, designers, and leadership, providing regular updates on project progress and proactively addressing issues as they arise.
  • Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to ensure project success across all active workstreams.

Work Environment / Physical Expectations

  • Limited travel required includes air and car travel.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse.
