Your key responsibilities: Investment management leadership
Full lifecycle governance of investment control:
Lead the end-to-end investment process, including strategic planning, investment review gates, quarterly steering, roadmappping, KPI alignment, and completion reporting.
Embed lessons-learned processes to continually strengthen investment decision quality and operational discipline.
Ensure all investments ladder up to annual strategic objectives and deliver measurable value.
Business Case Excellence & KPI Leadership:
Lead the development of high-quality business cases across divisions, setting industry-leading KPI benchmarks and ensuring KPI definitions are consistent, measurable, and strategically meaningful.
Lead MBO, ROI alignment, and performance calibration to improve investment efficiency year-over-year.
Partner with Finance, Category, and Subsidiaries to ensure KPI frameworks drive commercial outcomes.
Provide leadership that connects marketing efficiency with financial outcome delivery.
Strategic Reporting & Performance Insights
Deliver pan-category (MX, VD, DA) reporting aligned with HQ/EHQ standards, consolidating Subsidiary performance into clear insights.
Own Power BI dashboarding, ROI frameworks, business case templates, and completion review packs.
Provide strategic insights that guide decision-making at VP and Director levels.
Total Investment to Market (TIM) Data Ownership & Advanced Analytics
Lead analytics and dashboard development for Net Sales, Gross Margin, Trade Spend, ATL/BTL, digital performance, and division-level insights.
Own the integration of TIM (Sales Deduction + Marketing) data ecosystem across NERP, Finance Systems and Media to deliver a centralised view that enable efficient/effective management of investment.
Translate data into actionable strategies that enable portfolio and market-level investment optimisation.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and automation of all investment and performance datasets.
Artificial Intelligence Analytics(AIA) Subject Matter Expert
Lead the adoption of AIA-driven analytics, forecasting models, and insight generation to elevate investment decision-making.
Develop AIA-enabling tools (ROI predictors, media mix simulators, KPI anomaly detection, etc.) to improve operational efficiency and strategic clarity.
Educate teams on AIA best practices and ensure safe, compliant, and high-value implementation across the organisation.
Cross-Team Synergy & Value Enhancement
Act as the integration link between Marketing, Finance, Sales, and Category teams to identify synergy opportunities and eliminate duplicated efforts.
Drive enterprise-wide investment optimisation initiatives that unlock balanced short to mid-term value.
Team Development & Business Administration
Manage and coach junior analysts; build capability in BI tools, KPI literacy, modelling, and governance processes.
Streamline administrative tasks by delegating routine approvals and system processes to AP and junior team.
Create clarity, role alignment, and purpose across the investment management function.
Process Standardisation & Governance
Establish and maintain replicable KPI frameworks and investment governance models across EU16.
Ensure all RFPs and strategic projects follow standardised KPI, ROI, and performance measurement requirements.
Champion best-practice processes, ensuring operational rigor and audit-ready documentation.
Operational Excellence & Innovation
Ensure cost-centre operations remain compliant with internal audit, finance, procurement, and compliance standards.
Introduce process innovation to reduce complexity, shorten execution cycles, and improve cross-team visibility.
Optimise workflows for consistent execution of strategic BAU and unique custom projects.
Cost Centre Management
Oversee annual budgeting, forecasting, accruals, variance monitoring, and cost-centre reconciliation from an investment management perspective.
Maintain cost centre investment discipline while enabling strategic flexibility for marketing and operational priorities.
Your key people management responsibilities
Provide clarity on strategy, team purpose & value and define the key areas of focus and direction.
Support the development of your team through regular mentoring, coaching and feedback, 1:1s and on the job learning opportunities.
Role model inclusion for your team to build trust and psychological safety.
Manage the on boarding, off boarding process and the entirety of the colleague lifecycle process for all team members.
Ensure communication with your team is a core focus area including cascade of information from Leadership Team and relevant business updates.
Manage all annual people management cycles such as goal setting, evaluation and salary reviews to a high quality and in a timely manner.
To be accountable for ensuring your team are compliant with company processes and procedures; such as compliance, meeting mandatory business cyclical deadlines, and understanding the company values.
What we need for this role
7+ years in marketing analytics, investment governance/leadership
Strong logic/hypothesis formulator
Strong analytical and storytelling skills using data visualisation tools
Fully LLM proficient: Demonstrated adoption of AI to benchmark, automate and deliver value enhancement to processes, tasks, analytics enhancement and delivery
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
shown ability to manage cross-functional governance processes
Internal: Marketing Directors, Heads of Division (MX, VD, DA), Finance, D2C teams &
Subsidiary end-users
External: Agencies, media partners, data providers
Capability to coach junior analysts and manage multiple deliverables
Microsoft Excel (Advanced) & Office Suite
SQL / Python (Advantage)
Power BI / Dashboarding track record
NERP, SAP or equivalent ERP system experience
Investment Management Ops Tools
