SALARY: From £76,194 (non London based) or from £90,440 (London based)
LOCATION(S): Edinburgh, Bristol, Chester, London or Halifax
HOURS: Full time
WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in an office site

As Senior Marketing Manager for Reactive Comms, you’ll own the reactive strategy, spotting opportunities in the moment and delivering disruptive, unmissable content that drives engagement and distinctiveness. You’ll thrive on speed, creativity, and decisive action and be able to capitalise on moments that matter for customers to drive cultural and commercial benefits for our business.
What you'll be doing...!
- Lead Reactive Activation Strategy: Own and deliver the reactive marketing approach, identifying cultural moments and trending conversations to create bold, high-impact activations that put our brands at the heart of the zeitgeist. Make clear, strategic decisions on where and how we should show up to maximise relevance and impact across channels.
- Real-Time Decision Making: Act quickly and decisively to seize opportunities, ensuring content and activations land at the speed of culture while balancing creativity with compliance.
- Cultural Trendspotting: Maintain a constant pulse on social trends, news cycles, and cultural shifts to identify opportunities for brand-relevant stunts and activations.
- Creative Stunts & Partnerships: Develop disruptive, newsworthy stunts and collaborations that amplify reach, spark conversation, and drive brand fame.
- Cross-Channel Integration: Ensure reactive activations are seamlessly connected to wider campaign activity, aligning with briefs set by Full Funnel teams. Collaborate with other Accelerators and channel owners to make activations feel integrated, consistent, and impactful across all relevant touchpoints.
- Risk & Governance: Assess reputational risk and ensure all reactive activity adheres to brand guidelines and regulatory standards without slowing down delivery.
- Performance & Learning: Monitor and evaluate the impact of reactive activations, capturing insights to inform future activity and continuously improve speed and effectiveness.

What you’ll need...
- Agility & Speed: Proven ability to act quickly and decisively, delivering high-quality activations at the speed of culture without compromising brand integrity.
- Cultural & Zeitgeist Awareness: Deep understanding of cultural trends, social behaviours, and the zeitgeist, with the ability to identify and leverage moments that matter for brand relevance.
- Creative Bravery: Experience in pushing boundaries to deliver bold, disruptive activations and stunts that spark conversation and drive brand fame.
- Strategic Judgement: Skilled at making rapid, informed decisions on where and how the brand should show up to maximise impact across channels.
- Cross-Channel Integration: Ability to ensure reactive activations are seamlessly connected to wider campaign activity, aligning with briefs set by Full Funnel teams. Skilled at collaborating with other accelerators and channel owners to make activations feel integrated, consistent, and impactful across all relevant touchpoints.
- Risk & Governance Management: Strong capability to assess reputational risk in fast-moving situations and ensure compliance with regulatory and brand standards.
- Relationship Building: Proven experience collaborating with internal teams, agencies, and platform partners to unlock opportunities and deliver best-in-class reactive work.
- Performance & Learning: Ability to measure impact, extract insights, and apply learnings to continuously improve speed, creativity, and effectiveness.
