Job Description:
As the Senior Marketing Manager, Onboarding and Early Month on Book, Consumer Deposits, you will lead a dynamic team of marketing professionals and serve as a strategic advisor to the Consumer Deposit Products and Payments (CDPP) business. In this influential role, you will be a key partner to business leaders, leveraging your expertise to fully understand their strategic objectives, client needs, and product offerings. You will transform these insights into robust, integrated marketing strategies, harnessing both digital and direct-to-consumer channels. Your contributions will directly shape business operations and drive impactful decisions at the highest level.
This role focuses on developing and executing strategies to onboard and retain new deposit customers. Extensive banking experience will be essential as you architect and implement marketing initiatives designed to strengthen the onboarding journey including activation, primacy, and retention, and overall customer lifetime value. You will collaborate with a network of internal and external stakeholders to deliver sophisticated marketing plans and programs that exceed business goals, enhance the client experience, and drive profitable growth. You will be responsible for optimizing the customer journey at every touchpoint, bringing a data-driven approach to measure, analyze, and refine marketing investments to accelerate revenue and business expansion.
As a valued member of the department, you have deposits (or other consumer) marketing experience at a top bank, or financial services/marketing experience with Fortune 500 companies with a proven track record of successfully navigating large, complex organizations. You have supported marketing planning for the business with a comprehensive understanding of how the business operates to solve technical, operational, and business problems. You also have experience crafting compelling and insights-based presentations that you will deliver to executives.
The Senior Marketing Manager is a top-level marketing expert that manages/leads development and/or execution of marketing large scope plans/programs/projects/strategies by designing and delivering complex marketing solutions/insights consistent with TD’s marketing standards and strategies, in support of business results, customer engagement and experience.
Depth & Scope:
- Oversees multiple and/or complex marketing projects/programs/strategies that may impact several businesses/product lines
- Recognized as top-level marketing expert within the organization and requires significant in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in a complex field and knowledge of broader related areas

Education & Experience:
- Undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications, designations, or equivalent required
- 10+ years relevant experience
- Advanced knowledge of multiple marketing disciplines, strategy development, consulting principles, lines of businesses supported, banking industry, and product/customer markets
- Advanced knowledge of customer and brand research techniques and ability to develop analyses and insights that will drive customer strategy formation and business decisions
- Knowledge of current and emerging competitor and market trends
- Knowledge of risk management environment, standards and regulations
- Ability to manage a budget and work within the constraints of that budget
- Ability to contribute to strategic direction of the function and provide advice to senior leadership
- Ability to establish goals and objectives that support the strategic plan

Customer Accountabilities:
- Designs, develops and executes marketing solutions to address marketing/business needs/plans/strategies, to support a positive customer experience and the brand, ensuring alignment with internal marketing standards/goals
- Reviews, understands and ensures marketing solutions/initiatives are strategically sound and consistent with TD’s customer experience and brand image
- Manages assigned projects from scoping/briefing to launch/fulfillment, following established processes, privacy processes and visual/brand standards
- Participates in project scoping and preplanning sessions, proactively providing partners with advice and expertise on recommended tactics and marketing solutions
