Your Role at Baxter

As a Senior Marketing Manager, IV Solutions supporting our Global Infusion Therapies and Technologies (ITT) division, you will lead new product development projects for Baxter IV Solutions business.  In this upstream leadership role, you will drive global product strategy, lead cross‑functional development teams, and shape the future of Baxter’s IV Solutions portfolio. You will define user needs, guide product direction, and deliver strong commercial and financial outcomes for products used across 75+ countries.

Baxter’s ITT division is a $4B global business that includes a vast portfolio of products, e.g., IV solutions, nutrition, infusion technologies, specialized patient monitoring, and digital health platforms.

What you’ll do

  • Lead strategic marketing initiatives that shape portfolio direction, product strategy, and long‑term business growth.
  • Translate customer, market, and competitive insights into actionable recommendations and high‑impact commercial strategies.
  • Drive early‑stage innovation and new product development, guiding user needs assessment, concept validation, and target product profile creation.
  • Build robust business cases, financial models, and opportunity assessments to inform investment decisions and cross‑functional alignment.
  • Partner closely with global, cross‑functional teams to influence decision‑making and advance programs through key development milestones and gate reviews.
  • Serve as a key problem‑solver, proactively addressing issues and ensuring seamless communication across teams and leadership levels.
  • Facilitate alignment among regional and global partners, ensuring strategies reflect diverse perspectives and deliver customer‑centric outcomes.
  • Navigate ambiguity and structure complex challenges into clear recommendations that support both product direction and commercial success.

What you Bring

  • 5+ years in healthcare, MedTech, or pharmaceuticals, including 2+ years in marketing; upstream innovation or Bio‑Design experience strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, or a Science/Technology field required; MBA strongly preferred.
  • Strategic, customer‑centric marketing leader with strong analytical skills, business intuition, and a proven ability to translate insights into action.
  • Clear, persuasive communicator experienced in influencing across global, matrixed teams and aligning stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated success leading new product development from early user needs through concept validation and cross‑functional gate reviews.
  • Strong strategic planning capabilities, including market and competitive analysis, opportunity assessment, and portfolio strategy development.
  • Skilled in building robust business cases and financial models that guide investment and commercial decisions.
  • Thrives in fast‑paced, cross‑functional environments; adept at navigating ambiguity, solving complex problems, and driving customer‑centric outcomes.
  • Inclusive, collaborative leader who values diverse perspectives and fosters innovation.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $136,000-$187,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
