Job Description & Summary

As a Senior Marketing and communications executive at PwC, you will be responsible for engaging in various marketing and communication activities to drive revenue and achieve targets. Working in this area, you will build and leverage a broad understanding of the Firm's services and utilise skills in identifying client needs and providing appropriate solutions. To be successful in this role, you will be adaptable and work across different industries and markets to maximise opportunities.
- Support Client & Markets Development's core portfolio at PwC Kenya (priority accounts/industry programme, Client Feedback, accurate CRM information (Salesforce), marketing/events, thought leadership, digital media/social media.
- Involved in development of the industry and LoS marketing plan alongside the Marketing manager and are focused on execution, follow through on progress, and collecting inputs on market impact generated.
- Develop, recommend, and discuss with the Marketing leader and subsequently portfolio leaders marketing and business development activity and desired outcomes. This includes marketing campaigns and programmes primarily through industry groups, and marketing plans for Lines of Service
- Ensure quality through internal and external brand compliance, communications, website traditional and social media, initiatives such as thought leadership initiatives that they are driving.
- They are involved in developing timely reports and they are included or may even lead discussion with relevant stakeholders
- Development of research insights is critical in their role as they align this in priorities aligned with the LoS and industries they are aligned to.
- Champion communications and advise on thought leadership in their portfolio recommending unique ways to engage the market including digital channels and delivering training alongside the Manager on driving adoption of these areas.
Minimum years experience required
- 2 - 3 years of experience in industry or professional services including some experience in marketing/communications/business development.
Additional application instructions
- Experience in communications and stakeholder engagement is an added advantage.
- Chartered Institute of Marketing or related institution Diploma / Post graduate Diploma / Professional Marketing is an added advantage
