Senior Marketing Communications Associate - Direct-to-Patient

 As a Marketing Communication Senior Associate, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing patient initiatives to grow brand awareness, online traffic, conversions, and that move patients through their journey, with clear KPIs at every stage of the funnel.

We are seeking a data-driven and customer-obsessed Direct-to-Patient (DTP) Patient Marketing Communications professional to lead the strategy and execution of our DTP marketing strategy initiatives for our Joint Replacement Organization.

This position offers a hybrid work flexibility; you need to come into the Mahwah office 2-3 days per week. You will be required to travel up to 20% to agencies, and customer's organizations.

What you will do:

  • Analyze key competitors’ positioning, strengths, and weaknesses to develop differentiated messaging

  • Synthesize insights from multiple sources to assess patient needs and behaviors

  • Contribute to the development of the marketing plan through analysis and collaborate in executing key strategic initiatives

  • Differentiate between product-level and portfolio-level strategies and apply core competencies appropriately

  • Apply marketing frameworks and customer acquisition and retention strategies

  • Create, support, and execute tools and marketing collateral to enable sales efforts

  • Develop and execute internal and external communications that advance product and portfolio strategy

  • Leverage multiple marketing channels (OOH, social, digital, TV, print) and execute integrated channel strategies to drive business initiatives

  • Partner with key stakeholders to develop local and channel-specific marketing programs

  • Produce and manage various written materials, applying effective writing and editing processes

  • Generate fresh, compelling ideas that elevate creative output

  • Conduct research to inform and develop creative concepts

  • Communicate effectively using appropriate language, mechanics, and presentation skills

  • Articulate the importance of tailoring presentations to specific audiences

  • Demonstrate proficiency in presentation tools and techniques

  • Apply principles of design, layout, and color theory to develop creative concepts

  • Execute and manage core activities within the design process

  • Track, analyze, and report KPIs and performance metrics to sales and leadership

  • Assess and incorporate consumerism trends within today’s healthcare landscape

What you will need

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 2+ years of work experience

  • Direct to patient, or direct to consumer's marketing experience

  • Experience working with healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical or hospitals organizations

  • Experience working in a matrix organization

  • Experience working with highly regulated industries

Preferred

  • MBA is a plus

  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)

  • Experience working with a project manager Software such as Monday.com, work-front, slack, Etc.

  • Familiar with metrics platforms such, adobe analytics, google analytics

  • Collaboration in omnichannel campaigns experience is a plus

  • Experience in advertising agency is highly desirable

$64,400 – $122,700 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 20%
