Senior Manufacturing Operations Analyst

BSC is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Operations Analyst (Level 5) to join our 787 Fulfillment organization in North Charleston, South Carolina.

This role will involve supporting our production coordinators & analysts in the Line Side Control Center (LSCC). You will provide training, manage critical projects, as well as interface with our 787 Program customer.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Trains less experienced employees in group leadership and facilitation skills

  • Daily interaction with our 3rd Party Logistics Provider (3PL), GXO

  • Coordinates complex activities across multiple functions and outside organizations to maintain and improve operational efficiency in support of enterprise operations

  • Identifies and mitigates the impact of changes on the production system

  • Leads teams to conduct assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria

  • Analyzes and interprets data

  • Provides feedback on assessment results and identifies opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk

  • Leads organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to achieve business objectives

  • Works under consultative direction

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment

  • 10+ years of experience in performing data analysis

  • 10+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers, and multiple levels of leadership

  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain or Fulfillment

  • 5+ years of professional experience teaching others and leading training activities

  • 5+ years of experience using LEAN manufacturing and/or continuous improvement practices and tools in the workplace

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 10+ years of experience with project management

  • Experience leading value stream workshops

  • 787 Program experience

Shift:

This position is 1st shift. Willingness to support other shifts as needed will be required.

Summary pay range: $144,000 - $176,000
