Position Summary
This role is designed to be flexibly deployed across two focus areas within the Value Stream, each with its own specific purpose. As such, the responsibilities and key performance indicators will be defined separately to reflect the differing focus areas.
Technical Operations
Responsibilities
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
Site investigation & Change Control
- Lead/support site investigation, CAPA and change controls and drive improvement.
- Participate in audit preparation and conduct audits in designated areas; support investigation arising from audit findings and closure of audit CAPAs.
Proposals & Recommendations
- Able to provide technical solutions
- Recommendations on areas for improvement in plant modification works
- Recommendations on plant trial and process change
- Recommendations to review and initiate plant modification for the modification or replacement equipment, when necessary
- CAPAs arising from investigations or gap analysis from EHS and Quality standards
Compliance, Improvement and Standards
- Drive excellence in manufacturing systems and processes by applying GPS standards. Drive sharing and adoption of improvement/simplification ideas, standardization across Value Stream and compliance to EHS and quality standards.
- Collaborate with other site functions to ensure appropriate technical capability is in place.
- Author/execute engineering, relevant qualification and manufacturing documents and change controls related to NPI and capital projects.
- Maintain and set up PAT systems (incl. periodic revision of the attendant SOP and WIs).

Work arrangement: This role is on-site in Singapore. You will work closely with colleagues across operations, quality, engineering and safety, with occasional cross-site collaboration.
Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or chemistry
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical, chemical or petrol-chemical industry.
- Knowledge of product, manufacturing processes and the plant
- Good process design knowledge (relevant to Tech-Ops Process Engineering)
- Good plant troubleshooting / optimization skills
- Basic engineering knowledge
- Basic statistical knowledge
- Knowledge of GMP, safety, hygiene and environment regulations
