You will sit at the heart of Manulife Singapore’s transformation, shaping how we engage our employees, amplify our leaders’ voices, position the company in the media, and drive thought leadership in emerging areas such as longevity, AI, and financial empowerment.

Communications & Thought Leadership

  • Drive Manulife Singapore’s public narrative through media engagement, research-driven storytelling, and creative content-led campaigns.

  • Position the company and its leadership as trusted voices on longevity, AI, health, and financial confidence through interviews, speaking opportunities, and strategic media outreach.

  • Manage relationships with media and deliver messaging that differentiates Manulife in the market

  • Partner with senior leaders to prepare for media engagements, speeches, and events, crafting narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.

  • Oversee issues and crisis communication preparedness for the Singapore business, ensuring alignment and timely response. Maintain local protocols and partner with stakeholders to anticipate potential issues and support escalation management.

Internal Communications & Employee Engagement

  • Lead the Singapore colleague communications strategy, articulating business priorities and bringing our values and mission to life.

  • Partner with the CEO, leadership team, and HR to foster clarity, alignment, and engagement across the organisation

  • Lead the storytelling for company moments including townhalls, announcements, and internal campaigns/

  • Develop CEO messages and internal narratives that connect strategy to what matters most to employees and advisors.

  • Strengthen organisational connectivity through engaging content for digital channels such as internal social platforms, newsletters, and videos.

Strategic Influence & Innovation

  • Leverage AI-powered tools to enhance insights, content ideation to streamlining reporting and amplifying creative output.

  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure a unified and future-focused communications approach.

  • Champion data-driven communications by measuring impact and continually refining campaigns.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of experience in communications, marketing, or public relations , ideally within financial services, technology, or dynamic industries.

  • Strong visual storytelling capabilities and proficiency in creating high-impact presentation materials.

  • Experience leading large-scale campaigns or change communications initiatives.

  • Understanding of emerging topics such as AI, longevity, and financial well-being.

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to shape sharp, human, and business-aligned narratives.

  • Proven experience working with senior executives and driving high-stakes narratives.

  • Strong EQ and stakeholder management skills, able to build trust and influence effectively.

  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities whole maintaining a strategic view.
