Senior Manager Vulnerability Research & Assessment (Global Security)

What is the opportunity?

We are seeking an experienced and driven individual to join our team as a Senior Manager, Vulnerability & Threat Assessment. This role is perfect for someone who is energetic, enthusiastic and curious, with a deep understanding of vulnerability management, risk, controls and compliance frameworks, and exposure management strategies. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing on our vulnerability management strategy while working closely with internal and external stakeholders to safeguard our organization.

What will you do?

• Lead Key Control Testing, Risk, and Compliance Initiatives: Oversee the design, implementation, testing and continuous improvement of key control processes to ensure compliance with internal and external security standards.

• Monitor and manage risk remediation requirements from internal and external security assessments, vulnerability reports, audit findings, and identified security gaps.

• Develop and maintain metrics to measure the effectiveness of risk and compliance initiatives, communicating their impact to stakeholders

• Drive the Transformation to Exposure Management: Deliver on the strategic evolution from traditional vulnerability management to exposure management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.

• Spearhead initiatives to integrate exposure management concepts into existing processes, focusing on prioritization, automation and orchestration.

• Collaborate and Influence Across Teams: Partner with diverse stakeholders, including technology teams, risk leads, 2LOD, 3LOD, and 3rd party suppliers to drive vulnerability management control test execution and exposure transformation initiatives.

• Facilitate change management activities with cross functional team members and stakeholders to ensure adoption of enterprise initiatives
   

What do you need to succeed?
 

Must-have:

• 5+ years of experience managing key control testing, risk, and compliance initiatives

• Experience with cloud security concepts and tools (e.g., Aqua Security, Prisma, Wiz, Snyk).

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related discipline

• Demonstrated expertise in vulnerability management, including strong knowledge of security frameworks, governance practices, and vulnerability assessment methodologies

• Strong leadership and project management skills, with a proven ability to lead and deliver complex projects

• Exceptional communication, presentation and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate to diverse audiences, including senior leadership

• A relentless curiosity and enthusiasm for staying ahead of the curve in the ever changing world of cybersecurity
   

Nice-to-have:

• Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CRISC, CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CRISC, GCIH).

• Hands on experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, CrowdStrike).

• Hands on experience with JIRA, Confluence, Mural, and/or Lucidchart.
