What is the opportunity?

The Senior Manager, Transformation is a key leadership and product ownership role within RBC Caribbean Banking’s Transformation Group within the Product, Marketing & Digital (PMD) team.  The role will lead major transformational initiatives based on business priority.  As a first focus, the incumbent will lead the successful implementation of Deposit Originations Joint Accounts as well as a Self-Serve experience for Sole Accounts that includes remote ID verification.

What will you do?

  • Lead cross-functional squad(s) through the execution of key Caribbean Banking product transformation roadmap
  • Foster and develop Agile expertise and delivery capability and ensure key transformation initiatives are highly competitive to drive growth in target client segments
  • Collaborate with GRM, SESC, Sales Leaders, P&CB Operations, Information Technology, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, Fraud and other functions to increase efficiency, profitability and competitiveness and mitigate product risk
  • Champion a user-centered design approach across Caribbean Banking
  • Play a key leadership role in the development of product strategies for the Personal and Commercial products across the Caribbean, which include corporate and business credit, personal lending, auto finance, and mortgages
  • Ensure alignment of transformational initiatives with RBC Caribbean’s strategic imperatives
  • Develop comprehensive business cases and compiles fact bases to drive and influence change.
  • Oversee forums to help maintain a deep understanding of client needs and drivers of loyalty.
  • Drive initiatives to achieve target client satisfaction scores, resolve client irritants and improve product delivery.
  • Ensure all escalated client and advisor issues are quickly and fully resolved.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • University Degree and/or extensive related work experience
  • Minimum seven (7) years in Financial Services Industry, with four (4) years of strategy and/or product experience and two (2) years of Product Ownership Experience
  • Strategic, growth mindset with excellent knowledge and understanding of the financial industry
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with communicating financial results and performance to senior leadership
  • Strong collaborator with a proven track record of driving change

Nice to have

  • Experience working in an Agile environment
