Senior Manager, Technical Product Management — Specialty Pharmacy Digital Experiences

Position Purpose: The Senior Manager, Technical Product Management at AcariaHealth, a Centene specialty pharmacy, is responsible for leading the strategy, delivery, and outcomes of a portfolio of specialty pharmacy digital experiences that support medication access, therapy initiation, adherence, and patient satisfaction. Sets direction for what to build, why it matters, and how it aligns to AcariaHealth and Centene priorities, while ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant within a highly regulated healthcare environment. Leads and develops a team of product managers and serves as a key partner to senior leadership, pharmacy operations, clinical teams, and enterprise IT in shaping the long-term evolution of AcariaHealth's digital products.

  • Portfolio Strategy & Direction- Own a portfolio of specialty pharmacy digital products and experiences, spanning patient engagement, refill and adherence journeys, therapy onboarding, and operational enablement
  • Define product strategy and priorities across the portfolio, balancing patient impact, operational efficiency, regulatory needs, and technology constraints
  • Decide what to invest in, what to sequence, and what not to build, ensuring alignment with AcariaHealth’s specialty pharmacy strategy and Centene’s broader digital roadmap
  • Partner with senior leaders to inform long range planning, roadmaps, and investment decisions
  • Outcomes & Accountability- Be accountable for measurable outcomes, including improvements in:
  • Medication adherence and persistence
  • Patient satisfaction and experience
  • Efficiency and effectiveness of specialty pharmacy operations
  • Establish success metrics and regularly assess product performance, using insights to guide prioritization and continuous improvement
  • Ensure product decisions translate into real world impact for patients, caregivers, pharmacy teams, and the business
  • People Leadership & Ways of Working- Lead, hire, mentor, and develop a team of technical product managers and/or product managers
  • Set clear expectations, establish consistent product practices, and create strong, repeatable ways of working across the team
  • Coach product managers on discovery, prioritization, stakeholder management, and delivery in a regulated specialty pharmacy environment
  • Foster a culture that values patient centered thinking, technical rigor, accountability, and continuous learning
  • Specialty Pharmacy & Patient Centered Discovery- Ensure the team leverages modern tools, including AI enabled platforms (e.g., Claude), to rapidly prototype and test specialty pharmacy patient experiences
  • Guide the use of prototypes to explore complex challenges such as therapy delays, patient confusion, prior authorization friction, and handoffs across pharmacy and clinical teams
  • Ensure patient, caregiver, pharmacy operations, and clinical feedback is systematically incorporated into product decisions
  • Technical & Delivery Leadership- Provide oversight and guidance to ensure prototypes and concepts are effectively translated into production ready specialty pharmacy solutions
  • Partner closely with engineering, architecture, and delivery teams to maintain product intent from discovery through build, testing, and release
  • Ensure product plans account for the complexity of multi system environments, including pharmacy systems, clinical platforms, member data, and vendor integrations
  • Security, Compliance, and Enterprise Alignment- Ensure authentication, authorization, privacy, and security requirements are embedded into patient facing and operational experiences
  • Work within Centene and AcariaHealth IT governance, intake, and approval processes while maintaining momentum and clarity of direction
  • Ensure all products meet applicable regulatory, privacy, and enterprise security standards
  • Enterprise & Cross Functional Leadership- Act as a key connector across pharmacy operations, clinical teams, IT, security, and business leadership
  • Align diverse stakeholders around shared priorities, timelines, and outcomes
  • Represent the digital specialty pharmacy product portfolio in senior level discussions and forums
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar), or equivalent practical experience. 8+ years of experience in product management, technical product leadership, or digital delivery within healthcare, pharmacy, or other regulated industries. Demonstrated experience leading large initiatives, complex product portfolios, or teams of product managers. Experience contributing to or owning planning, prioritization, and investment decisions at a program or portfolio level. Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and guide cross functional teams toward shared outcomes.


 

Pay Range: $107,700.00 - $199,300.00 per year

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status.  Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
