Job Summary:
The Senior Manager, Tax Compliance & Reporting will be responsible for managing global quarterly and annual tax reporting under U.S. GAAP (ASC 740, Accounting for Income Taxes) and overseeing U.S. federal and state tax compliance. Reporting directly to the Director of Global Reporting and U.S. Taxes, the role will collaborate with global tax, finance, and accounting teams and will play a key part in shaping the tax compliance and reporting strategy for a fast-growing, multinational fintech company.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage quarterly and annual global tax provision processes under ASC 740.
Review and analyze deferred tax assets/liabilities and uncertain tax positions.
Coordinate with external auditors and internal stakeholders during financial audits.
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of tax disclosures in financial statements.
Implement process improvements and automation in tax reporting systems.
Research and advise on tax technical provisions surrounding ASC 740.
Lead calculation of forecasted effective tax rate, adjusted effective tax rate, and cash tax.
Lead and manage the U.S. federal and state income tax returns, extensions, and estimated tax payments.
Support tax planning initiatives and special projects, including M&A and restructurings
Supervise and mentor the tax team, fostering a culture of accountability, service excellence and continuous learning
Identify skill gaps and provide ongoing training and development to ensure team readiness and performance

Education and Experience:
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, Chartered Accountant, MST, or advanced degree preferred).
10+ years of progressive experience in tax reporting/accounting, with a combination of Big 4/public accounting and multinational corporate experience.
3 + years managing teams and developing staff in a fast-paced environment
Deep technical knowledge of ASC 740, Accounting for Income Taxes.
Proven experience managing global consolidated tax provisions and external financial reporting.
Strong understanding of SOX/internal controls and audit processes.
Familiarity with OECD Pillar Two and global minimum tax rules a plus.
Proficiency with tax provision and reporting software (e.g., OneSource Tax Provision, Longview, Corptax, or similar).
Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities, with the ability to explain complex issues to non-tax professionals.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, global fintech environment.
Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.

Pay Details:
The base compensation range for this position is $168,000 - $227,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
