RemoteWe are looking for a Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition to manage the TA function across our business in the UK, Ireland and France. In this role, you will be leading a growing team of TA Partners supporting Collins Aerospace in the region. With no two days being the same and everyone needing to hire someone yesterday, this role demands you be target-driven and excel under pressure. Working in this role, you’ll be empowered to manage your team, your desk and drive creative recruiting strategies specific to the Collins Aerospace team and locations.
There will be approximately 30% travel in the first year as you meet with the TA Partners and visit the sites for which your team is responsible for recruitment. The successful candidate must also be be based in either the UK or Ireland.
What will you do:
Support the business:
You will be responsible for developing relationships and being the recruiting subject matter expert for HR leaders and business executives across the areas you and your team supports
You will be responsible for researching, building and implementing strategies to effectively meet and exceed hiring demands
You will use data to understand key trends in order to establish and execute program and process improvements that drive operational excellence
You will be partnering with team members and Talent Acquisition peers to build and deliver a superior candidate and manager experience
Lead your team:
You will be responsible for hiring, developing and leading a team of experienced TA professionals that design and implement talent acquisition strategies and tactics to meet business needs
You will need to assess the training needs and create development plans for individual team members and ensure the team is performing to KPI’s and goals
You will ensure staffing levels on the team are sufficient and work is level loaded
It will be your responsibility to create a positive, engaging and inclusive environment to increase employee satisfaction and engagement
Qualifications You Must Have:
Experience leading and developing a large team of full life cycle recruiters
Experience managing and leading cross-department project teams or managing across multiple matrixed departments
Experience building and executing recruitment strategies for engineering, administrative, operations and production & maintenance talent
Strong understanding of recruiting metrics and data and how they relate to operational performance
Experience working within and enforcing UK/Ireland hiring guidelines and practices
Qualifications We Prefer:
University Degree or Equivalent
Workday recruiting module experience
Hiring, managing and developing a team of 10+ employees
Leading/Working within a TA COE
