NVIDIA

Senior Manager, System Validation

Israel, Yokneam Full time

NVIDIA’s System Product Engineering (SPE) organization is responsible for production test development, validation, and deployment of NVIDIA’s next-generation networking products — including NICs, SmartNICs, DPUs (BlueField), and high-performance Ethernet & InfiniBand switches. The Validation Group plays a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and production-readiness of all test content, test JIGs, and tester electronics across multiple product families and contract manufacturer (CM) sites worldwide. The group bridges between test development, hardware design, mechanical engineering, and production operations.

We are seeking an experienced second-line engineering manager to lead the Validation group — a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and first-line managers responsible for end-to-end validation of production line Functional Tests (FT), Customization Tests, automatic production JIGs, test boards (TBs), and all tester-related electronics. The successful candidate will own the group’s strategy, execution, and people development while operating in a fast-paced, multi-product environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Define and drive a strategic roadmap for the group, including automation, tooling, methodologies, and scaling strategies

  • Establish and evolve validation methodologies and standards (JIG V&V, test board validation, regression analysis, Cp/Cpk, production coverage metrics) across all product families

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in validation quality, cycle time, first-pass yield (FPY), and test time reduction (TTR)

  • Identify and champion automation and AI-driven approaches to validation workflows

  • Own end-to-end V&V execution across NPI (New Product Introduction) and Mass Production phases for NICs, DPUs, and Switches

  • Drive the V&V matrix methodology across 30+ NIC projects (FT + Customization) and 20+ Switch projects simultaneously

  • Lead, mentor, and develop first-line managers — empowering them to independently manage their sub-teams while maintaining alignment with group strategy

What We Need To See:

  • BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field

  • 12+ overall years of experience in hardware/system-level test engineering, production test development, or validation & verification — in a high-volume electronics manufacturing environment

  • 5+ years in engineering management, including at least 2+ years as a second-line manager (managing managers) or demonstrated readiness for this level

  • Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams (10+ engineers across HW, SW, and validation disciplines)

  • Experience with test automation frameworks, Python-based test development, and CI/CD pipelines

  • Familiarity with configuration management, version control (Git), and release management processes

  • Ability to lead through influence — manage up, across, and down in a highly matrixed organization

  • Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution discipline

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — able to interface with senior leadership, R&D, operations, and CM partners

  • Demonstrated ability to build, scale, and retain high-performing engineering teams
