Senior Manager, Supply Chain Network Strategic Planning

Singapore, Singapore Full time

As a strategic leader within ResMed’s Supply Chain Planning organization, the Senior Manager, Supply Chain Network – Strategic Planning supports execution of the global network master plan. This role focuses on long term strategic planning for supply chain, network analysis, scenario modeling, and translating strategic direction into actionable implementation plans that enable a scalable, demand-responsive, and resilient end-to-end network.

Working closely with the Director and cross-functional partners, this role ensures that network strategies are supported by data, structured evaluation of trade-offs, and disciplined execution planning.

Key Responsibilities – Long Range Planning & Scenario Development

  • Support development of the long term strategic master plan through detailed modeling of manufacturing footprint, DC locations, flow-path design, make-vs-buy analysis, transportation lanes, and capacity frameworks.

  • Build and evaluate multi-scenario network models to assess trade-offs across cost, service, resilience, and capacity, providing data-driven recommendations.

  • Partner with Network Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement, and Commercial teams to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and ensure data integrity.

  • Develop clear documentation of modeling assumptions, constraints, and scenario outcomes to support decision transparency.

Operationalization & Implementation Support

  • Translate approved network strategies into structured implementation plans with defined milestones and risk mitigation strategies for supply network flow

  • Validate and model business continuity for supply flow

  • Support execution of network changes—new sites, regionalization efforts, lane adjustments, and capacity shifts—through structured program tracking and cross-functional coordination.

  • Identify structural constraints and execution risks, escalating key trade-offs and recommendations to the cross functional leadership

  • Monitor post-implementation performance and provide analytical insights to validate expected outcomes.

Network Governance & Capability Enablement

  • Support maintenance of the multi-year planning and capacity roadmap, ensuring alignment of assumptions and updates across stakeholders.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of the Network Playbook, including modeling standards, templates, data governance, and scenario methodologies.

  • Support, co-create executive-ready analyses, dashboards, and decision materials for leadership review sessions.

  • Promote standardization and adoption of supply chain design tools and analytical best practices.

Key Competencies

• Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
• Structured problem-solving and systems thinking capability.
• Strong analytical skills with comfort working in ambiguity.
• Ability to balance strategic alignment with disciplined execution focus.

Leadership Behaviors

• Demonstrates ownership and accountability for deliverables and outcomes.
• Builds trusted working relationships across functions and levels.
• Communicates clearly, using data and structured narratives to support recommendations.
• Drives disciplined follow-through and continuous improvement.
• Influence and collaborate with data science or planners

Key Priorities in the First 12–24 Months

  • Deliver high-quality modeling in support of the multi-year network master plan.

  • Support implementation of major network transitions with structured tracking and risk mitigation for supply continuity

  • Improve transparency and consistency of network scenario modeling.

  • Demonstrate measurable improvements in network transparency, decision cycle time, and execution readiness.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field; Master’s preferred.

  • Proficiency in Linear programing (LP), mixed-integer programing (MIP), and heuristic method for large scale supply chain problems,

  • Hands-on experience in optimization solvers

  • Proficiency in dynamic simulation with hands-on experience in building discrete event simulation to test supply chain new design (AnyLogic, FlexSim or similar)

  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (Python, R, SQL, Power BI or similar)

  • Ability to model end to end supply planning flow for multisite manufacturing, warehousing and global customers footprint

  • Experience in Supply Chain modeling tools

  • Experience building multi-objective optimization models that balance competing KPIs (cost, service, inventory) is preferred.

  • Strong working Knowledge of statistical methods, forecasting techniques including time-series, and regression modeling etc.

  • Familiar with ERP System and End-to-End Supply Chain data.

  • Experience in Supply chain Planning, design, Logistics, Transformation initiatives.

  • Experience leading complex cross-functional projects with measurable outcomes.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority and deliver results collaboratively.

  • Experience working within complex, global, multi-node supply chain environments preferred.
