Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Senior Manager, Supply Chain Management (Level-M) to join the Senior management team and lead the Fabrication Supply Chain team within a Boeing Wholly Owned Subsidiary, at Boeing Composites Malaysia (BCM).
The selected Supply Chain Leader will establish policies and procedures for the BCM Supply Chain organization—encompassing Indirect and Direct Procurement and Warehousing—and will develop and mentor the team to manage high‑impact, complex statement of work responsibilities. They will direct procurement and warehouse operations to ensure assurance of supply, overseeing quality, delivery, sourcing strategy, contracting, and negotiations for CAPEX, service contracts, and indirect and direct materials.
The leader must possess in‑depth knowledge of BCA supplier management practices and pro‑forma supply chain documents, including hands‑on experience executing Special Business Provisions and applying supply chain policies and procedures. They will successfully execute multiple complex work‑transfer programs during accelerated growth, negotiate contracts, change orders, and claims, and monitor supplier readiness through First Article Inspection and mass production.
This is a Long-Term Assignment to work in Bukit Kayu Hitam, Kedah, Malaysia for up to 3 years. Relocation and assignment benefits to the international location will be provided
Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for safety of self and colleagues, company property, and adheres to all of Boeing Composite Malaysia (BCM) policies
Manages, develops, and motivates employees and mid-level managers.
Demonstrates and lives the Boeing Values & Behaviors
Reviews and monitors team’s performance to execute to agreed business goals and objectives
Leads all Procurement and Warehouse team activities and partners with internal and external stakeholders
Ensures material planning and purchasing activities are properly executed to the production requirements and unplanned material risk/issues
Safeguards all parts, materials, and tools with full warehouse responsibility including freight and logistics
Ensures material inventory is at optimum level within the planned provisioning policy, monitors and manages materials planning to avoid material shortage
Inventory and safety stock management for assurance of supply to support production
Tracks and minimizes material expiry/scrap through mitigation strategies
Analyzes suppliers’ contract proposals, plans and executes cost saving initiative to achieve Long Range Business Plan (LRBP) Targets
Prepares, reviews and presents the Procurement strategies, analysis, and approval boards to the Leadership Team
Effectively communicates with suppliers for any negotiations related to delivery, quality, pricing and long-term agreements.
Manage employees and mid-level managers performing activities across multiple Supplier Management Job Families (Operations, Contracts, Warehousing).
Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures
Execute within department budgets for staffing, travel, and spending accounts.
Provides team coaching and mentoring on Project Management, Contracting and Negotiation.
Develops and maintains relationships with cross functional partners, customers, stakeholders, suppliers.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher (or foreign equivalent)
Minimum 5+ years of Mid Management experience
Minimum 3+ years of experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes
Must be legally able to work in Canada
Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods
Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data
Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
Have previously completed negotiations/contracting for Boeing
Prior experience working with work movement and supplier transfers
Prior experience working with international suppliers
Strong network of SME’s and leaders for consultation and support within BCA and FAB
Previous experience of working overseas and appreciation of cultural norms

Long-term Assignment details:
Candidate must be able to obtain work visa depending on requirements of the country
