The Opportunity
The Senior ServiceNow Developer will lead the design, development, and optimisation of solutions on the ServiceNow Platform to deliver seamless and efficient workplace experiences.
This role involves partnering with stakeholders across HR, Finance, IT, Legal, Procurement, and Security to deliver strategic, scalable solutions that enhance business processes and user experience.

An integral part of our company’s IT operating model, Tech Centers are globally distributed locations where each IT division has employees to enable our digital transformation journey and drive business outcomes. Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our dynamic ServiceNow team in Corporate Systems. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background in ServiceNow development.
The role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements to our ServiceNow instances, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and business processes.
This position is based in our Hyderabad location and we follow a hybrid work policy.
What will you do in this role
5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow, including work in modules such as HAM, CMDB, ITSM, ITOM Discovery, and Service Catalog.
Proven experience in designing and implementing integrations, Service Graph connectors, automation workflows, and custom scoped applications.
Experience in OTM, SAM with exposure to ServiceNow mobile applications and performance optimisation is highly desirable.
Required Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Proficient in JavaScript and familiarity with Python for automation tasks and good advance working knowledge in API integration, REST/SOAP web services, and data exchange mechanisms.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
Certified Application Developer.
Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Fundamentals
At least a ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist in ITSM, CSM or Discovery.
Preferred Skills:
Deep understanding of ETL mapping, transformation maps, and Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE) rules.
Experience in Agile methodologies and leading development sprints.
What should you have
1. Solution Architecture & Design:
Lead technical design sessions and define scalable architecture for ServiceNow solutions.
Translate complex business requirements into robust technical designs.
Research and evaluate available ServiceNow technologies that align with customer specifications.
2. Development & Customisation:
Build, configure, and optimise ServiceNow applications and workflows.
Develop custom applications and advanced automation scripts to meet unique business needs.
3. Technical Communication:
Present technical solutions and architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to gather and validate business and functional requirements in line with governance standards.
4. Release & Project Management:
Define and manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables for complex ServiceNow initiatives.
Provide technical leadership for small to large-scale projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
5. Governance & Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, customisations, and integrations.
Establish best practices for development, testing, and deployment processes.
6. Testing & Quality Assurance:
Collaborate with enterprise architects to design and implement robust ServiceNow solutions.
Oversee configuration, installation, and testing of components, ensuring compliance with design specifications.
7. Mentorship & Collaboration:
Guide junior developers and share best practices across the team.
Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
8. Integration and Maintenance:
Define and implement rigorous testing and validation procedures for all integrations and enhancements
Monitor platform performance and recommend optimisation strategies.
Stay updated on ServiceNow releases and emerging technologies to introduce innovative solutions.
