Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our dynamic ServiceNow Value Team. The ideal candidate should possess proven leadership abilities to drive a technical squad, influence business partners for value realization and a strong technical background in ServiceNow development.
This position is based in our Hyderabad location, and we follow a hybrid work policy.
What will you do in this role
• Lead dynamic squad of developers, testers, and operations support to drive the identification, design, development of business enabling solutions
• Collaborate across the ServiceNow value team and business stakeholders to understand business needs developing multiyear strategic roadmaps where ServiceNow Solutions can address business challenges
• Partner with the business and other technical teams to identify and then integrate ServiceNow with other IT systems and third-party applications to support reliable foundational as well as operational data to drive the enterprise.
• Support development of custom reports, performance analytics, and executive dashboards in ServiceNow to provide real-time insights into service performance and key metrics.
• Leveraging experience from the operations support team and end user feedback, lead team in prioritization of Identified opportunities for improvements that would optimize ServiceNow solutions.
• Ensure squad follows consistent, required process of conducting thorough testing of ServiceNow configurations and developments to ensure system stability, reliability, and accuracy. Continue to evolve solutions approach to enable more automated testing for the solutions.
• Ensure team is compliant in maintaining comprehensive SDLC and technical documentation for all ServiceNow configurations, customizations, and developments.
• Stay up to date with the latest ServiceNow features, tools, and best practices.
What should you have:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of working experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with 3-5+ years desired experience on GRC / IRM and /or Security Operations.
• Experience with any of the following:
Support design, configuration, and development of ServiceNow applications, modules, flows, and interfaces to meet the organization's Integrated Risk Management (GRC/IRM), Policy & Compliance (PCM), Business Continuity (BCM), Audit Management (AM), Security (SIR/VR/DLP/CC) requirements.
• Awareness and experience with Generative AI and Agentic AI are a desired plus.
• Preferred ServiceNow: CIS–Risk and Compliance, CIS–SecOps, CSA (Administrator), CAD (Application Developer) certification would be highly preferred
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML with hands-on experience in ServiceNow scripting and development.
• In-depth knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices for IT Service Management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to design effective ServiceNow solutions.
• Strong knowledge and experience across ServiceNow product and process areas; Security (Security Incident Response / Vulnerability Response /Configuration Compliance / DLP) and/or IRM, PCM, BCM, Audit preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, effectively communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies is a plus.
