A Senior Manager of Sales Operations is a strategic role in the global Commercial Excellence team, responsible for optimizing and streamlining the sales process to improve efficiency and drive revenue growth for the MSD Sales channel. This role requires a strong understanding of sales processes, data analysis, and the ability to collaborate with various teams and functions to achieve overall sales success across multiple layers of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify areas for improvement in sales workflows, implement standardized processes, and ensure efficiency and productivity.
Identify, implement, analyze and improve key Sales metrics to drive business performance and help in decision-making (global, regional, business segments level, etc). Develop and drive Sales Effectiveness programs adjusted to business segments needs and countries.
Manage and optimize CRM systems, ensuring data integrity and effective utilization by the sales team with focus on continuous improvement of CRM functionality and ease of use by the teams.
Leadership of the Customer Master Data team (based in India). This includes planning and implementation of various continuous data management updates, improvements, as well as special projects, such as payment terms harmonization across the MSD division. Close collaboration with other functions is required, especially Finance and IT.
In this role, support of key strategic Sales initiatives will be required. Example include Sales operating models analysis and optimization suggestions, Sales organization streamlining, etc., collaboration with senior Sales / Business leaders to drive growth programs. Support of overall MKS growth initiatives will be required as needed.
Key Skills and Expertise Required:
5+ years in Sales Operations function with track record of successful Sales effectiveness improvement, process streamlining, and leadership of longer-term strategic Sales Operations projects.
Knowledge and experience with SAP and C4C, master data hierarchies.
