Senior Manager, Regional Product Marketing

Under direct supervision of Sr VP Global Marketing – Tissue Reconstruction, this role will develop and implement US marketing strategies, product and brand plans, omni-channel promotional programs and activities for the Soft Tissue Solutions sub-segment. This role directs a team of product managers and coordinates with cross-functional partners including sales, sales training, marketing communications, prof ed, medical affairs, finance, supply chain, etc to execute the commercial plan. 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:

  • Leads development of sub-segment and product marketing plans by preparing objectives, strategies, tactics, market and competitive analysis, Voice of Customer, pricing strategies, revenue forecasts, operating expenses, capital expenses. Plans encompass a range of channels including but not limited to direct sales, digital/social media, tradeshows and professional education.
  • Develops promotional assets and tools aligned to business strategy, marketing plans and product positioning to support customer needs, the sales team, digital and tradeshow channels
  • Develops product positioning, value propositions, brand messaging and promotional campaigns;
  • Develops and maintains Claims Matrices for supported brands, and ensures timely execution of PMAP for all promotional materials consistent with our Ad Promo Policy
  • Conducts customer research and develops customer insights; analyzes market trends and conducts competitive analysis making recommendations on how to overcome obstacles and capitalize on opportunities
  • Participates in strategic sales and marketing planning activities in order to identify key targets, surgeons, and hospitals by specific product
  • Identifies and manages 3rd party agencies such as ad agencies
  • Partner with global strategic marketing to recommend product line extensions, SKU rationalization, labeling revisions, indication expansions, clinical studies, manufacturing and customer service/operations
  • Demonstrates strong clinical aptitude and ability to discuss clinical matters with customers
  • Builds and maintains active relationships with key customers and opinion leaders
  • Establishes and maintains key close professional relationships with internal and external constituents to stay abreast of new market opportunities. Maintains frequent and regular contact with strategic industry experts, trade organizations and professional societies; plans and participates in key meetings and conferences
  • Collaborates with sales to ensure a high quality of sales support in terms of product support, new product market introductions, sales training programs, key surgeon/key account field visits and regular communication, both responsive as well as proactive
  • Prepares annual and quarterly revenue forecasts and budgets for the marketing function
  • Monitors forecasts as necessary and works collaboratively with other departments to ensure product availability throughout the product lifecycle
  • Leads the Soft Tissue Solutions Regional marketing team and develops team members through objective setting, proactive coaching and leading by example
  • Performs other duties as required

Salary Pay Range:

$125,350.00 - $172,500.00 USD Salary

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by several factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for bonus, commission, equity or other variable compensation.
