About the Role

Adobe Professional Services is seeking a Senior Manager to lead a team of Technical Consultants and Business Consultants specializing in Data and Marketing Automation (Customer Journey). This role is responsible for driving successful client engagements, ensuring high-quality delivery, and building scalable consulting capabilities across Adobe Experience Cloud solutions.

The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership, consulting expertise, and a deep understanding of data-driven marketing and customer journey orchestration.

What You'll do

1. Team Leadership & People Management

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a group of Technical and Business Consultants

  • Set clear goals, manage performance, and support career development

  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance, and customer-centric culture

  • Ensure the team has the right skills and capabilities aligned with market demand


2. Delivery Excellence

  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of client engagements across Data and Marketing Automation domains

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality

  • Establish and enforce standard processes, methodologies, and governance frameworks

  • Manage risks, critical issues, and client expectations effectively


3. Consulting & Solution Leadership

  • Provide strategic guidance on customer data strategy, CDP, and customer journey orchestration

  • Support solution design across Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Journey Optimizer, and related tools

  • Act as an executive sponsor or senior advisor for key accounts

  • Bridge business requirements with technical implementation


4. Business & Customer Management

  • Build strong relationships with key client

  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to drive account growth

  • Support pre-sales activities including proposal development, scoping, and estimation

  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts


5. Practice Development

  • Define and evolve service offerings in Data and Marketing Automation

  • Develop reusable assets, frameworks, and accelerators

  • Contribute to thought leadership and go-to-market strategies

  • Monitor industry trends and incorporate standard methodologies into delivery

What You'll Succeed

  • 8+ years of experience in consulting, digital marketing, or data-related roles

  • 3+ years of experience in team management or leadership roles

  • Strong understanding of:

    • Customer Data Platforms (CDP)

    • Marketing Automation / Customer Journey tools

    • Data architecture and integration

  • Proven experience delivering complex enterprise projects

  • Excellent customer management and communication skills

  • Language Requirements:
    (i) Business-level English or above: comfortable participating in meetings and collaborating with global teams and ability to communicate business and technical concepts effectively)
    (ii) Native or fluent Japanese is required (for Japan-based role): ability to engage with local clients and collaborators effectively.

Preferred

  • Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud (AEP, AJO, Analytics, Target, etc.)

  • Experience in both Technical Consulting and Business Consulting environments

  • Knowledge of data privacy, governance, and compliance

  • Experience in global or matrix organizations
