About The Role:
This role combines high-level business development, account acquisition, and deep market engagement. You’ll operate at the forefront of Dyson business-to-business sales, managing strategic accounts, identifying new commercial opportunities, and being the key interface between Dyson and our most valued professional clients. You’ll own your targets, influence senior client stakeholders, and represent the Dyson brand at the highest levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sales Execution
- Account Acquisition & Growth:
Identify, develop, and win new business opportunities within target verticals including corporate, hospitality, healthcare, and education sectors. - Account Management:
Lead end-to-end sales cycles for key accounts—conduct needs analysis, deliver compelling solution pitches, negotiate contracts, and secure deals. - Pipeline Management:
Build, qualify, and maintain a robust sales pipeline. Use CRM platforms to track progress, forecast accurately, and report results clearly. - Consultative Selling:
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, articulating clear value propositions for Dyson Professional products and solutions. Tailor pitches and proposals to address specific customer needs and business drivers. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Customer Service teams to deliver seamless pre- and post-sales support, ensure customer satisfaction, and feed insights back into Dyson’s innovation loop.
Market Engagement
- Industry Networking:
Build and deepen relationships with decision-makers and influencers in target sectors. - Market Intelligence:
Gather, analyse, and share critical market feedback and competitive intelligence to inform Dyson’s professional channel strategy.
Reporting & Governance
- Performance Tracking:
Take ownership for achieving and exceeding both quarterly and annual sales targets. - Contract Compliance:
Ensure all sales agreements are structured in line with Dyson’s commercial policies, legal, and ethical standards.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 15+ years’ experience in B2B sales, ideally in premium consumer products, appliances, technology, or related high-value professional solutions.
- Demonstrated success managing complex sales cycles and closing large deals with enterprise, institutional or governmental clients.
- Strong commercial acumen, with a proven track record of exceeding targets and driving measurable business results.
- Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills across all seniority levels.
- Self-driven, disciplined, and comfortable with autonomy in a fast-growing, evolving business.
- Fluency using CRM and digital sales tools; strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel to meet clients and attend events as required.
