Position Responsibilities:
Lead daily production planning and execution across vehicle upfit operations, coordinating body, paint, assembly, quality inspection, rework, and final release activities to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient vehicle throughput.
Align production output with sales targets and delivery commitments by participating in and leading daily operational stand-up meetings, reviewing build schedules, order priorities, and operational constraints to ensure production plans support revenue and dealer delivery goals.
Manage end-to-end production control, ensuring chassis availability, parts supply, labor capacity, and build sequencing are aligned to maintain consistent production flow and on-time completion of vehicles.
Oversee chassis planning, staging, and readiness, ensuring incoming chassis availability is forecasted, scheduled, and prepared to support production schedules and minimize downtime.
Manage inventory control and material planning, including parts availability, inventory accuracy, and aged inventory reduction to support uninterrupted production and efficient use of working capital.
Coordinate supply chain and parts planning with purchasing, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of components and effective integration with production schedules.
Direct logistics operations including carrier management, dispatch coordination, and vehicle movement, ensuring efficient inbound chassis delivery and outbound vehicle shipments to dealers and distribution partners.
Lead and develop cross-functional teams across production, quality, logistics, and material planning, establishing clear expectations, accountability, and operational discipline throughout the organization.
Monitor operational performance metrics including throughput, first-time quality, capacity utilization, labor efficiency, and delivery performance, translating insights into operational improvements and corrective actions.
Oversee quality execution within the production environment, ensuring adherence to build standards, inspection protocols, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to reduce defects, rework, and warranty exposure.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production, logistics, and material flow processes using lean principles, standard work, and waste reduction to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
Ensure production operations remain aligned with OEM compliance requirements, regulatory standards, and internal quality systems, maintaining proper documentation, process discipline, and audit readiness.

Demonstrated manufacturing leadership experience with the ability to lead cross-functional teams in high-volume, high-mix automotive production and upfit environments, driving operational execution, team accountability, and consistent delivery of production targets.
Strong operational problem-solving and decision-making capability, addressing complex production challenges such as quality issues, throughput constraints, chassis and parts availability, supplier disruptions, and OEM compliance requirements with a focus on rapid containment and permanent corrective action.

Education & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
· Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, automotive production, operations, supply chain, or a related operational leadership environment.
· Equivalent combinations of education, technical training, and progressive operational experience will be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Hybrid work environment consisting of office settings and daily on-site presence within active vehicle production and upfit facilities.
Frequent travel required to production facilities in Indiana, Georgia, and Alabama, as well as corporate headquarters in Duluth, GA, with extended periods spent in manufacturing environments.
Frequent time spent on production floors, involving a mix of indoor and limited outdoor activity, including walking, standing, and navigating shop-floor environments to support operational oversight and execution.
Ability to sit for extended periods while working in office settings, as well as the ability to move throughout production facilities as required.
Vision abilities sufficient to review production data, quality documentation, and enter information into computer systems, including prolonged use of computers and mobile devices.
