About your team
 

The Product team is part of the broad Client Propositions team, which support the launch, management and governance of Fidelity’s cross-border product ranges. Each team comprises a specialist group focused on the research and development of product designs, as well as another group dedicated to the efficient implementation of products and projects that impact the product range. In addition, the department contributes to the oversight of outsourced strategies. 

In India, the role aligns with Client Propositions Support team, which provides cross-asset analysis and product support across the broader team.

About your role

The role will support Fidelity International’s global product capability transformation, driving alignment across strategy, governance, and execution. It will strengthen product governance, enhance operational efficiency, and embed effective tools and processes across the product lifecycle.

The position is pivotal in building a resilient and scalable product ecosystem that supports the ideation, design, and launch of investment products across multiple asset classes, structures, and jurisdictions. By fostering collaboration among Product, Legal, Operations, and Distribution teams, the role will help ensure Fidelity’s investment solutions meet the highest standards of quality, regulatory compliance, and client relevance.

Through disciplined governance, streamlined processes, and best-practice adoption, the role will enhance the Product function’s focus on efficiency, quality, and strategic alignment, contributing directly to Fidelity’s long-term competitiveness and product ambitions.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication, organisational, and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to refine and continuously improve product governance frameworks and procedures.

About you
 

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders. Demonstrated success in collaborating effectively across Product, Legal, Operations, and Distribution functions. Experience managing the end-to-end product management lifecycle, from ideation and design through launch and ongoing governance, across multiple jurisdictions. Knowledge of market demands for share class features in Europe- and Asia-domiciled products is an advantage.
     
  • Familiarity with agile project methodologies, data-driven decision-making, and technology platforms relevant to product delivery is highly desirable. The ideal candidate would possess a continuous improvement mind-set and a strong track record of identifying and successfully implementing process enhancements. Experience with tools such as Appian, K2, BWISE, and generative AI applications for workflow efficiency is advantageous.
     
  • A self-starter who demonstrates initiative, adaptability, and a strong learning orientation. Proven ability to lead and develop small, high-performing teams by providing direction, coaching, and support within a matrixed global environment.
     
  • Exceptional accuracy and thoroughness in work output, ensuring the highest standards of quality and governance.
     
  • Strong project management and governance skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Excellent time management, prioritisation, and organisational abilities are essential.
     
  • Minimum of 12 years’ experience in the asset management industry, with deep expertise in mutual funds, ETFs, and other pooled investment vehicles, including regulatory, compliance, and operational aspects. Experience in Product, Operations, or related functions with cross-border products is preferred.
     
  • Master’s degree in finance, business, or a related fields; advanced degrees or industry certifications (e.g., CFA, CIPM) are a plus.
