What is the Opportunity?

RBC leads Canada’s Business Markets with top market share in Deposits, Foreign Exchange, and payment volumes. This role drives profitability by overseeing Payables and end-to-end Receivables solutions, integrating them into RBC systems, and innovating client-centric products. The position significantly impacts business growth and strategy.

What Will You Do?

Strategic Product Leadership

  • Define vision, strategy, and roadmap for Receivables products, focusing on automation and process improvement.
  • Align products with RBC’s Commercial Banking and Cash Management strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Manage product lifecycle (KPIs, market/competitor analysis, client needs) and collaborate with operations, sales, and leadership.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance (AML, cross-border) and mitigate client impact.
  • Monitor competitive pricing, market share, and benchmarking.
  • Handle escalations and engage with clients/sales teams.

Planning, Delivery & Execution

  • Develop product roadmaps with cross-functional teams (client experience, tech, operations).
  • Lead project execution, prioritize features, and define requirements/user stories.
  • Track OKRs and ensure platform integration/client adoption.
  • Create reusable frameworks for consistent outcomes.

Risk Management

  • Ensure adherence to RBC’s security policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage third-party supplier risks and improve service reliability.
  • Analyze financial data and product performance.

Relationship & Change Management

  • Collaborate with senior leadership on future strategies and stakeholder engagement.
  • Communicate product vision and support executive reporting.

Financial Management

  • Own product profitability, revenue targets, and KPI achievement.
  • Manage project budgets and financial analysis.

What Do You Need to Succeed?

Must-Have:

  • 7+ years of industry experience in commercial cash management.
  • Deep knowledge of accounts receivables, payments, and reconciliation processes.
  • Expertise in Canadian/U.S. treasury management products.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills (market trends, product performance, complex data).
  • Project management experience (Agile, change management).
  • Technical acumen to collaborate with technology teams.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have:

  • BComm/MBA or equivalent education.
  • Advanced communication skills (written/oral).
  • Data-driven problem-solving approach.
  • Formal change management training/certification.
