What is the opportunity?

The Operational Effectiveness (OE) team is seeking a passionate, results-driven, and innovative Senior Manager to lead the transformation of end-to-end Personal banking processes. This role focuses on re-engineering processes to reduce friction, eliminate redundancies, and enhance client experience across Personal & Commercial Operations (PCO)

As a Senior Manager, Personal Banking Operations Transformation, you will work closely with the Personal Banking Operations (PBO) teams and partner with enterprise transformation teams to advocate for and deliver components that bring transformational strategies to life. You will be responsible for analyzing opportunities generated from either End-to-End (E2E) Process Reviews and/or the OE Intake with emphasis on developing business cases that evaluate and enable prioritization of scalable capabilities across PBO, as well as our Collections team. Once prioritized, you’ll partner closely with Personal Banking Operations, Operational Effectiveness peers and our Operational Data, Information & AI (ODIA) team to realize scalability of these capabilities. Lastly, you will leverage partnerships across the PBO team to support the enhancement of our PBO E2E Process Intelligence, which will be critical in identifying further opportunity for Process Transformation across PBO in support of PCO Impact & Empower2030 strategies.

OE is a dynamic and rapidly evolving area where tackling ambiguity in a collaborative way is essential to personal and teams success. The successful candidate needs to be an owner of their portfolio and have proven experience in developing data-driven business cases that quantify operational efficiencies, cost savings, productivity gains and client experience improvements.

What will you do?

  • Enterprise Transformation Leadership: Have a leadership role in complex, cross-functional transformation programs from strategy through execution and sustained value realization.
  • End-to-End Process Engineering: Conduct deep process diagnostics (current state assessment, E2E design, mapping, value stream analysis, root cause assessment) to identify productivity, risk, and experience improvement opportunities with scalability across PCO.
  • Digital & AI Enablement: Identify and deploy automation and AI capabilities to truly reimagine our operation processes at broader scale to bring efficiencies.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Partner with data teams to extract insights, define KPIs, quantify benefits, and monitor transformation outcomes.
  • Stakeholder & Governance Management: Participate in senior-level forums, align cross-functional partners, manage risks/dependencies, and drive decision-making with clarity.
  • Process Repository & Capability Stewardship: Strengthen process inventory governance and enable scalable transformation through structured documentation and standards.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • Exceptional executive storytelling and presentation skills, with ability to simplify complex process reviews into structured narratives to highlight business benefits.
  • 5+ years Proven experience leading components of large-scale, cross-functional transformation programs with executive visibility and measurable business impact.
  • Deep expertise in end-to-end process engineering (current state assessment, E2E design, Lean, process mapping, value stream analysis, root cause diagnostics) with a focus on scaling initiatives across PCO
  • Strong analytical acumen, problem-solving, critical thinking, time management, organizational, and communication (written/oral) skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently navigate ambiguity and influence senior stakeholders without formal authority.
  • Keen interest in leveraging Data and cutting technology and AI solutions to drive insights & optimize operations processes. Experience deploying digital/automation capabilities within operational environments.
  • Advanced structured problem-solving capabilities with systems-thinking mindset.
