This is what you will do:
The Neurology Patient Services Strategy team ensures that Alexion’s Patient Services organization is providing best-in-class support to patients on a Neurology therapy. The Senior Manager, Patient Services Strategy, Neurology, will focus on the identification, development, and implementation of strategies and tactics that support a successful and efficient patient journey. This role will support all indications and therapies within the Neurology business unit. This role interacts with all levels of Patient Services and collaborates heavily with a variety of cross-functional partners, including but not limited to Training, Reporting and Analytics, Marketing, Business Operations, Market Access, Sales, IT, and external vendors, in order to support ongoing process improvement on behalf of the patients we serve.
You will be responsible for:
• Managing the day-to-day aspects of Alexion OneSource vaccination support initiatives, including vendor management and strategic oversight
• Utilizing multiple data sources to monitor and analyze performance, identifying and communicating strategic insights and trends, and updating strategies/tactics
• Partnering with Reporting and Analytics and Business Operations Commercial Excellence Team (BOCE) to continuously evaluate and improve data integrity, edit/develop reports as needed, and manage ad hoc data requests and analysis
• Creating, owning, and presenting dashboards, presentations, and monthly business reviews
• Partnering with Patient Services colleagues on program feedback and designing needed updates to ensure operational excellence and efficiency
• Partner with IT and CRM business partners to develop necessary CRM system requirements in response to strategic and/or process updates
• Collaborating with marketing teams to develop and maintain patient services materials, forms, talking points and other related materials/communications
• Supporting ongoing programs and initiatives for Alexion’s current and new products, including new product launches
• Partnering with finance and work force management on forecasting of programs, patients, staffing and other key metrics
• Liaising with Legal and Compliance departments to ensure all resources and processes are developed and operating according to respective SOPs and guidance
• Supporting ad-hoc Neurology Strategy projects to support the patient journey
You will need to have:
• BA/BS degree
• 3+ years healthcare or pharmaceutical/biotech experience, including project management experience
• Detailed experience with multi-vendor management, invoicing, program forecasting, and contracting
• Experience with project management, including identifying and leading continuous improvement initiatives
• Strong critical thinking skills to align business strategies and current challenges
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple complex projects independently
• Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple assignments simultaneously
• The duties of this role are generally conducted in an office environment. We would prefer for you to have:
• 2+ years Patient Support/Services program experience
• Proficient in MS Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
• Proven ability to partner, build relationships and influence decision making within multi-disciplinary teams
• Demonstrated experience making strategic recommendations and decisions and presenting to leadership
• Independent, driven, self-directed approach comfortable with varied job responsibilities
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $173,000. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles) or to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles).
