Role Summary:
Lead and champion operations wide process improvement initiatives to achieve improved production processes, reduced wastage and improved quality leading to improved efficiencies at work.
This role will play a pivotal role in driving Continuous Improvement initiatives at respective site. This position reports to the Head of Industry 4.0 & OE. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative and analytical problem solver, capable of simplifying complex issues, evaluating solutions, and delivering superior business results.
Roles and Responsibility:
Extensive Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in operational excellence roles, with a strong background in factory or manufacturing environments, particularly within unionized settings
Unionized Environment Expertise: Demonstrated ability to collaborate and drive improvement initiatives in unionized workplaces, fostering positive labor-management relations.
5S Implementation: Proven track record in developing, deploying, and sustaining 5S workplace organization systems to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
Lean Manufacturing Leadership: Deep understanding and hands-on application of Lean Manufacturing principles, including value stream mapping, waste elimination, and continuous improvement initiatives.
SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Die): Experience in implementing SMED techniques to reduce setup times, increase flexibility, and optimize production flow.
Line Balancing: Expertise in analyzing and restructuring production lines for optimal workflow, resource utilization, and throughput.
OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness): Strong ability to measure, analyze, and improve OEE metrics, driving equipment reliability and productivity gains.
TPM (Total Productive Maintenance): Successful leadership in TPM programs, ensuring proactive maintenance, minimizing downtime, and engaging teams in equipment care.
Change Management: Skilled in leading change initiatives, training cross-functional teams, and sustaining a culture of continuous improvement.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Proficient in using data analytics and KPIs to identify opportunities, monitor progress, and deliver measurable business results.
Communication & Leadership: Exceptional communication, coaching, and stakeholder management abilities at all organizational levels
Requirement:
10+ Yrs of experience into operational excellence.
Postgraduate in Engineering. Graduates with relevant experience and/or MBA in Operations
Preferred Certification: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Certified TPM facilitator
Proficiency in TPM – JM, PM, and / or Lean Six Sigma
Good understating of Daily Management System
Technical Knowledge on manufacturing process, planning and execution and presentation skills with good English fluency.
Knowledge of BI tools, Power BI, Tableau, AI & Analytics would be an advantage.
