We are seeking an experienced leader to drive compliance and data governance for our Bermuda entity. This role combines regulatory expertise with data quality leadership to ensure robust controls and actionable insights across the business.
The Job
Lead FATCA, CRS, and AML compliance programs; design and implement policies, controls, and remediation plans.
Act as subject matter expert on regulatory obligations; engage confidently with the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) and external auditors.
Monitor regulatory developments and translate requirements into practical operational solutions.
Define and execute data quality frameworks, including profiling, cleansing, and remediation.
Establish KPIs and deliver dashboards/MI reporting to drive continuous improvement.
Partner with stakeholders across functions to embed compliance and data quality best practices.
The Person
10+ years’ experience in compliance, operational risk, and/or data governance within financial services (insurance preferred).
SME in FATCA, CRS & AML with proven track record in reporting, control design, testing, and remediation.
Strong regulator engagement experience (BMA) and audit/inspection readiness.
Data quality leader: define KPIs, build dashboards/MI, and manage profiling, cleansing, and issue remediation.
Analytical and detail‑oriented; hands‑on with SQL/Excel and Power BI/Tableau; able to turn data into actionable insights.
Influential leader and stakeholder‑savvy collaborator; delivers outcomes across complex initiatives.
Excellent English communication (written & verbal).
