As the NY Commissioning Program Manager on the US Expansion Strategic Programs team, you will guide a technical team responsible for commissioning all facility systems to ensure operational readiness for manufacturing. Your leadership will shape team culture, elevate technical execution, and help deliver some of the largest semiconductor manufacturing projects in the country. This role is on‑site and hands‑on, making a direct impact from day one.
Responsibilities:
Build commissioning processes, procedures, and qualification standards in partnership with Strategic Technical Program Management
Lead and develop a high‑performing technical team, including performance management, succession planning, and professional development
Oversee commissioning plans, procedures, and execution for all facility systems while driving lessons learned into concurrent programs
Maintain program KPIs, reporting, and communication with DOCs, project management, and key partners
Ensure compliance with design requirements, local codes, safety standards, and Micron policies throughout the commissioning lifecycle
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent technical experience
15+ years commissioning experience in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or high‑tech manufacturing environments
10+ years managing technical teams
Proven experience leading commissioning for large‑scale capital projects
Proficiency with Autodesk tools (Revit), Microsoft Office, and cloud‑based commissioning systems
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent technical experience
20+ years commissioning semiconductor facilities
Strong understanding of cleanroom operations, process equipment, and facility utilities
Experience applying AI‑enabled solutions to improve commissioning accuracy and speed
The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$148,000.00 - $323,000.00 a yearAdditional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
