Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Develop organic growth opportunities with existing clients and establish new business relationships with emerging and prospective customers.
Engage with senior executive, operational, and functional leaders to build trusted relationships and strategically position the organization as a market leader.
Collaborate on overall new business development strategies and client management action plans, including:
Identifying and prioritizing target accounts
Initiating outreach to new and prospective clients
Leading capability presentations and solution discussions
Acting as a primary point of contact for new business inquiries
Evaluate market trends, competitive offerings, and evolving client needs to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
Lead the generation of new opportunities and collaborative client initiatives in partnership with cross‑functional and regional business development teams.
Maintain accountability for achieving defined new business targets, including proposal volume, pipeline development, and closure rates.
Lead or support strategic projects as required, providing insights, recommendations, and presentations to internal stakeholders and clients.
Analyze business intelligence, client profiles, and market data to tailor proposals and presentations that align with client priorities.
Collaborate on and/or lead RFI/RFP responses, including solution design, pricing input, and value proposition development, to improve win rates.
Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to strengthen brand presence and market awareness.
Experience and Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in business development or similar based roles to grow and differentiate our value in market;
Experience and accountability for consistently achieving monthly targets development, sales leadership, or client management roles.
Demonstrated experience developing and closing complex, solution-based opportunities with enterprise clients.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements:
Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
Proven strategic thinking, sales execution, forecasting, and business planning capabilities.
Experience developing client proposals, contracts, and RFI/RFP responses.
Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to articulate value propositions and ROI.
Ability to generate new leads and manage opportunities from initial concept through contract execution.
Skilled at leveraging existing relationships while building new networks to drive sustained growth.
Effective interpersonal, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to consistently meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Flexibility to travel across Canada and the U.S. (approximately 20%).
Bilingualism is considered an asset.
