Senior Manager, Mixed Signal Design Engineering

Location: Gen. Trias Cavite, Philippines

Group: Digital Healthcare – Healthcare Sensors & Power Management Group

Role Overview:
Lead and grow a high-performing team of Layout and Design Verification Engineers supporting next-generation Healthcare Imaging ASICs. As Senior Manager, you’ll set technical direction, coach and develop engineers. The right candidate will have a strong background in either Layout or Design Verification and will help drive collaboration with our global design teams to deliver robust & innovative designs.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Layout and Design Verification Engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

·        Communicate technical direction for our IC projects to the Layout and DV Team, ensuring alignment with product and business goals.

·        Oversee the design methodologies used for Layout and DV and ensure the alignment with groups methodologies.

·        Partner with cross-functional leaders in design, applications, and manufacturing to resolve issues and support design.

·        Manage, resource allocation, and team priorities to meet deliverables.

·        Champion process improvements, knowledge sharing, and technical training within the team.

·        Represent the Philippines site in global forums and collaborate with international teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field.

·        13+ years of industry experience, including hands-on work with Mixed-Signal Layout and/or Design Verification

·        6+ years in a leadership or mentoring role.

·        Strong people leadership, project management, and communication skills.

·        Proven ability to drive results through technical teams and cross-functional collaboration.

·        Deep understanding of integrated circuit design, and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

·        Experience leading teams in semiconductor layout, verification, or design.

·        Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements and mentor technical talent.

·        Familiarity with ADI’s layout tools or standard verification tools.

·        Willingness to travel for global collaboration and training.
