PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB: 

  • Develop and execute the merchandising strategy for women's Underwear/Sport, ensuring alignment with overall brand objectives. Responsible for creating a seasonal range plan to ensure effective product assortment.

  • Conduct market analysis through collecting feedback from directly operated and distribution countries, market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, consumer preferences, and opportunities.

  • Partner with global merchandising/design for assortment creation, regional GTM team for product launch and country team for product feedback.

  • Create/drive assortment planning and make recommendations for improving the assortment for the market.

  • Monitor seasonal OTB in regional / country level in collaboration with planning teams, ensuring alignment with financial targets.

  • Responsible for preparing market presentations with line and product direction, style assortments and pricing structure.

  • Review the buy and adjust country selection to ensure investment direction align with OTB and seasonal strategy. Provide seasonal hindsight to identify strengths and weaknesses for next development.

  • Prepare and analyze sales performance and reports to make informed merchandising decisions and adjust strategies as needed.

  • Provides core and seasonal product knowledge support to markets to drive sales and service, and generate excitement within our retail channels.

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years all-rounded experience in lingerie industry, at least 5 years in retail industry

  • Previous working experience in international brands is definitely an advantage

 

Education: Bachelor degree required, preferred in fashion or business related discipline

 

Skills:

  • Solid understanding of retail buying and the product creation process

  • Strong commercial sense and knowledge of consumer/fashion trends

  • Intense interest in fashion branding / retailing

  • Creative, visionary and able to clearly articulate product point-of-view

  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills

  • Collaborative with ability to work across functions and in concert with region and Global counterparts

  • Excellent people and process management skills
