The Senior Manager, Medicare Sales is a field-based leadership role that oversees a team of Medicare Sales Field Agents. The territory will cover: North Pinellas, West Pasco and Hernando counties. Responsibilities include recruiting, training, and coaching agents on selling individual health plan products, including Life, Annuity, Indemnity, Dental, Vision, and Prescription plans. The position requires community engagement, compliance with CMS guidelines, and relationship-building with internal and external partners.

Required Qualifications
Active Florida Health insurance license
2+ years of Medicare sales experience
Ability to lead a team of sales associates and train them in successful sales techniques, educational presentation skills, utilizing technology tools as well as building relationships with communities and medical providers
Proficiency in MS Office products and CRM platforms
Public speaking and community marketing experience
Valid state driver’s license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance meeting at least 25/25/10 coverage limits (or higher, based on state requirements).
Territory will include the following counties: North Pinellas, West Pasco and Hernando.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Prior experience leading a team of sales associates and train them in successful sales techniques, educational presentation skills, utilizing technology tools as well as building relationships with communities and medical providers
Prior experience in the health solutions industry
Prior experience with medical, life insurance and dental product positioning
Bilingual in both English and an additional language with the ability to speak, read and write without limitations or assistance
Additional Information
Any Humana associate who speaks with a member in a language other than English must take a language proficiency assessment, provided by an outside vendor, to ensure competency. Applicants will be required to take the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test as provided by the Federal Government.
