Position: Senior Marketing Manager – Digital Marketing – Medical (Education, Research and Care)
Location: Gurgaon
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced B2B marketing and demand generation leader to drive high-velocity pipeline creation for Wolters Kluwer’s Health business in India. The ideal candidate combines strategic GTM planning, hands-on digital execution, and commercial accountability to support sales across hospitals, medical colleges, Pharma companies, and healthcare institutions. This is a business-critical role where success is measured by pipeline influence, marketing-attributed revenue, and digital growth outcomes.
Responsibilities:
1. Pipeline & Demand Generation
- Build and accelerate ~$2-$2.5M annual pipeline for the Health portfolio.
- Run integrated demand programs targeting hospitals, medical institutes, Pharma companies, and healthcare providers.
- Execute campaigns through ABM, webinars/events, paid & organic digital channels, thought leadership and email automation.
- Improve lead quality, SQL/MQL velocity and opportunity progression in partnership with Sales.
2. Digital Marketing & Marketing Operations
- Plan and execute digital campaigns across paid social, search, display, email, automation and CRM.
- Track and optimize ROI, CAC, attribution, funnel leakage and key conversion metrics.
- Build performance and spend dashboards with clear visibility on pipeline contribution and forecast.
- Roll out WhatsApp for Business and other digital engagement workflows for lead nurturing and retention.
3. GTM for Health Education & Medical Content
- Support both digital subscription and print product adoption across medical education and clinical learning.
- Lead awareness and engagement programs to build usage, trial and conversion for platforms such as clinical knowledge tools, medical research databases and eBook subscriptions.
- Partner with Sales on top-account strategies and customer-facing campaigns that accelerate deal closure.
- Collaborate closely with sales and market research teams to understand market demands and gather customer feedback for refining product offerings.
- Engage with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and foster strong relationships.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the medical education space.
- Utilize market intelligence to identify gaps, new opportunities, and potential areas for innovation
4. Brand & Content Leadership
- Scale Wolters Kluwer Health’s market footprint across digital channels with strong messaging and storytelling.
- Drive creation and distribution of high-quality content including landing pages, case studies, customer stories, newsletters, video creatives, and campaign collateral.
- Ensure brand consistency across campaigns and audience segments.
5. Team & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Lead and coach a high-performing marketing team.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, Customer Success, FP&A, Operations and global marketing.
- Report campaign performance and pipeline outcomes to senior leadership with transparency and predictability.
Skills & Tools
Required
- Proven success in pipeline-linked B2B demand generation
- Marketing automation (Marketo or similar) & CRM (Salesforce preferred)
- Paid media campaign execution (LinkedIn/Meta/Google)
- Marketing analytics, attribution, reporting and forecasting
- Strong copywriting, messaging and content direction
Nice to Have
- WhatsApp marketing automation workflows
- Familiarity with AMS and eCommerce paid spending for revenue growth
- Healthcare / Pharma / medical education industry exposure
Experience
- 12+ years of B2B digital marketing and demand generation experience
- Experience marketing digital/ SaaS/ knowledge solutions preferred
- Background in healthcare/ Pharma/ hospitals/ medical education is a strong advantage
- Experience managing agencies and working with global stakeholders
