Senior Manager, Marketing Performance

Impact

The Senior Manager, Marketing Performance, will help build Shipt’s marketing measurement and analytics capability to measure the short and long-term impacts of marketing, deliver clear tracking and reporting, and provide actionable insights to drive decision-making across the marketing organization. You will play a critical role in implementing a Marketing Mix Model program to support annual planning, quarterly forecasting and weekly investment optimizations throughout the year.

While no two days are the same you will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Shipt’s MMM platform, managing data integrity, quality validation, and continuous improvement. You will establish clear links between marketing activity, team goals /KPIs, and business outcomes to ensure reporting frameworks support accountability and decision-making across all channels. You will lead modeling and analysis to connect marketing investments to revenue and business outcomes and conduct simulations to forecast the business impact of proposed marketing changes and integrate learnings into annual planning and budget cycles. You will analyze campaign and channel performance data on weekly, monthly and quarterly cadences to uncover key trends, risks and opportunities. You will translate cross-channel analysis into data-driven insights and actionable recommendations as the point person for this tool. You will drive improvements in measuring marketing effectiveness across Paid, Owned and Earned marketing activities and campaigns. You will partner closely with channel and campaign owners to define success metrics and align performance measurement with strategic goals. You will also deliver actionable, data-driven insights and strategic recommendations through standardized reports and scorecards to ensure simplicity and clarity for all stakeholders and demonstrate the ability to customize views by audience, including custom reporting for marketplace retail partners.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

.• You have 8 years of experience in marketing analytics, insights, or effectiveness roles within a matrixed organization.
• You have expert-level proficiency in measurement platforms and data visualization with deep technical understanding of Marketing Mix Modeling, Multi-Touch Attribution, incremental testing and econometric modeling.
• You have proven experience developing and scaling marketing frameworks that drive decision-making.
• You have deep expertise in marketing attribution, campaign performance measurement, forecasting and ROI modeling.
• You are a strong communicator with an exceptional ability to translate complex analytical concepts and findings into understandable and actionable takeaways for executives, creatives and channel partners.
• You demonstrate excellent attention to detail for best-in-class reporting.
• You demonstrate the ability to influence without authority. You have excellent collaboration skills with the ability to align cross-functional teams to achieve measurable business goals.
 

Pay Range: $75,200 - $120,000 

Please note that the salary range above is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.

Work Arrangement

Shipt considers candidates located near a Shipt office or workspace in Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis to be hybrid, which means that they have the flexibility to work from home (with leader approval) or at a Shipt office in order to facilitate the ability to innovate, collaborate, and spark team connections. In-office expectations will vary by role and leader.  Certain roles may require in-office presence on a full-time basis.
