[What the role is]
The incumbent supports the comprehensive vaping case management operations under the supervision of the Assistant Director. This role focuses on executing day-to-day operational activities, coordinating case workflows, and ensuring effective case processing and resolution. The incumbent works collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies to maintain operational efficiency whilst supporting the national effort against vaping through effective case management practices.
[What you will be working on]
Case Operations & Workflow Execution
- Execute daily case management operations including case intake, processing, and resolution activities.
- Support case handoff processes to relevant agencies and assist in coordinating cases through intervention pathways including mandatory rehabilitation regimes.
- Maintain operational workflows and ensure consistent case processing standards across all case types.
Agency Coordination & Stakeholder Support
- Assist in coordination activities with MOE, MINDEF, ICA, MOM, MHA and other agencies for case referrals and operational arrangements.
- Support liaison activities with outsource logistics vendors for suspect etomidate vape collection and laboratory testing coordination.
- Facilitate information sharing and maintain effective working relationships with external partners.
Case Monitoring & Data Management
- Monitor case progress and maintain accurate case tracking records for general and etomidate vaping cases.
- Support identification and management of edge cases requiring specialised attention.
- Assist in maintaining performance metrics and operational data to support reporting requirements and management oversight.
Operational Support & Process Compliance
- Support team operations and assist in workflow distribution to meet operational targets.
- Contribute to operational reporting activities and performance monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with established operational procedures and quality standards whilst supporting process improvement initiatives.
Administrative & General Duties
- Provide administrative support for case management activities and assist in special projects as required.
- Support training and development activities for operational staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director or senior management.
[What we are looking for]
Education & Experience
- A background preferably in healthcare, public health or related field.
- Alternatively, candidates with minimum 2 to 5 years' relevant experience in case management operations, healthcare administration, or public health programme support roles will be considered.
Operational Experience
- Demonstrated experience in operational workflow execution and case management activities with ability to support policy implementation and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience supporting inter-agency coordination or working with government agencies, statutory boards, or external partners in healthcare or operational contexts.
Core Competencies
- Strong organisational and communication skills with proven ability to work effectively in fast-paced, multi-priority environments.
- Demonstrated stakeholder coordination capabilities and ability to work collaboratively across teams and agencies.
Please note that this position will require 6 days of rostered 12-hour shifts (morning/night) per month which may include weekends and Public Holidays. Please apply only if you are able to meet this job requirement.
The successful candidate will be offered a 1-year contract (with option for automatic renewal for a further one year) in the first instance.
