What You Will Do:
- Component & Module Industrialization
- Lead the industrialization of new engine components and modules for new programs (Demonstrator programs, archetypes 1-4) or RLPM Gate C (archetypes 5-10), including:
- Turbine and compressor blades and vanes
- Combustor parts
- Casings, shrouds, seals, and rotating structures
- Bearings, shafts, and support structures
- Develop and validate manufacturing processes for complex engine parts involving:
- Precision casting and forging and near net shape
- High-precision machining of superalloys (e.g. Inconel, titanium, ceramic matrix composites)
- Additive manufacturing (metal AM), hybrid processes
- Advanced coatings (thermal barrier, anti-corrosion) and heat treatments
- High-temperature joining (brazing, welding )and surface treatments
- Cross-functional Industrial Readiness
- Collaborate with the Advanced Industrialization Director, OPE, Leads and Industrial Engineers, to the planning and execution of the RLPM Gates and Operations Production readiness (PR) deliverables, synchronized with RLPM gates, including the Production Plan.
- Drive Design for Cost (DfM), Design for Manufacturability (DfM) and Design for Assembly (DfA) in close coordination with Design Engineering, suppliers, partners and sites and Advanced Industrialization Buyer through Integrated product teams (IPTs)
- Establish, with program Cost Controller, Advanced Industrialization Leads and Engineering, the Cost Basis Note of components and internal sites, track FSC evolution and work with Engineering and suppliers, partners or internal sites to identify alternative design & manufacturing solutions to increase program margins and mitigate headwinds
- Define and develop manufacturing processes, tooling concepts, plant layout, and automation strategies aligned with DfM and DfA
- Drive industrial maturity using Technology Readiness Level (TRL) and Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) across component manufacturing, assembly, and test and support TRL and MRL assessments for new technologies
- Collaborate with component producers, partners, A&T, supply chain, facilities, and digitalization teams to:
- Assess infrastructure, logistics, and data systems requirements
- Define requirements for new programs or capacity increases through:
- - Special process qualifications
- - Tooling and fixturing
- - Plant layout and production cell design
- - Equipment
- - Digital manufacturing methods, data integration and, where necessary, digital
- transformation.
- Contribute to make-or-buy assessments, industrialization readiness assessments,
- global industrial footprint planning, including offload industrialization and
- outsourcing strategies
- Validate industrial plans including First Article Inspections (FAI), process capability
- studies, and PPAP deliverables
- Assess and leverage digital manufacturing tools including simulation, PLM/MES
- integration, process modelling, virtual commissioning, shopfloor connectivity (MES,
- IoT and digital twin models to support new programs requirements
- Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards (AS9100, NADCAP, APQP).
- Champion lean manufacturing, zero-defect mindset, and continuous improvement
- Prepare project plans, risk analyses, and budgets for activities supporting industrialization requirements; such plans, risk & budgets to be incorporated in program plans
- Frequent travel and variable work schedules expected when working with suppliers, partners or internal sites (manufacturing and A&T)

Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in aerospace engine component manufacturing or industrialization or similar high-specification industries
- Deep understanding of propulsion engine components, advanced manufacturing methods, aerospace materials and processes (e.g. Inconel, titanium alloys, ceramic coatings and composites) and special processes.
- Experience in developing and deploying manufacturing and assembly processes in regulated industries.
- Experience with cross-functional collaboration and communication, risk assessment, and problem-solving skills and project management experience (technical planning, cost control, risk mitigation).
- Ability to influence complex, multi-site or suppliers, partners and sites -including projects and act as an agent of change & transformation
- Experience with automation, robotics, and Industry 4.0 concepts.
- Familiarity with digital tools CAD/CAM tools (CATIA), PLM systems (e.g. Teamcenter), digital manufacturing platforms, and data analytics tools
- Familiarity with aerospace production processes, standards and quality systems (AS9100, NADCAP, APQP).
- Fluent in English. other languages (e.g. French, Polish) are an asset.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Demonstrated and applied manufacturing experience on components
- Familiarity to additive manufacturing or hybrid manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with global supply chains, suppliers, partners and sites development, offload industrialisation and New Product Introduction or ramp-up programs.
- Exposure to advanced materials and digital manufacturing, including digital twins, virtual build/test, and data analytics, Model-Based Definition (MBD) and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
- Six Sigma or Lean certification is a plus.
