What is the opportunity?

Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Workplace Services. This position is primarily responsible for working with our regional Corporate Real Estate teams to standardize and mature our global facilities management services offering. This position will be responsible for regulatory compliance, risk management, cost savings and reputational enhancements of facilities management services across the global RBC portfolio. All responsibilities carried out in accordance with Code of Conduct, RBC Values and Guiding Principles ensuring adherence to Privacy Principles.

What will you do?

  • Research best practice and innovations in facilities management as well as benchmarking RBC facilities management services against peers

  • Audit service provider performance and recommend process and service innovation to elevate execution.

  • Oversee the global WELL building certification program and manage the associated supplier relationships and budget.

  • Analyze large data sets, identify trends and recommend possible solutions.

  • Assist in identifying and resolving operational risks (transactional, legal, reputation and employee)

  • Provide feedback to management on an ongoing basis to improve efficiency and enhance employee experience.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • In depth knowledge of managing Facilities Management services in a large corporation

  • Experience overseeing outsourced facilities management services across multiple jurisdictions.

  • Ability to digest and analyze large data sets and present concise summaries and recommendations for executives.

  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables at the same time while navigating a fast-paced work environment.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience mobilizing an outsourced service provider agreement
