Senior Manager - Global Trade Content

As the Manager for APAC HS Operations, you will lead our APAC-based HS Operations team, a multi-level, geographically distributed group responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of Harmonized System (HS) tariff content for our ONESOURCE Global Trade suite. Based in India, you will provide direct leadership to our teams in India, Malaysia, and the Philippines, overseeing a global content portfolio that spans the entire APAC region and includes key countries in Europe and Africa.

This is a pivotal leadership role that combines people management, operational excellence, and strategic partnership. You will be responsible for developing a high-performing team, driving process innovation on a global scale, and serving as the primary strategic liaison between the content organization and key commercial stakeholders in the fast-growing APAC market.

About the Role:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of 20+ content professionals—including team leads, lead analysts, senior analysts, and analysts—across India, Malaysia, and the Philippines.

  • Foster a high-performing, inclusive, and collaborative culture that aligns with TR's values.

  • Champion career development, manage performance differentiation, and build a strong leadership pipeline within the team.

  • Own the end-to-end content lifecycle for a global portfolio of HS tariff schedules, ensuring world-class standards for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.

  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process optimization, automation, and the strategic application of AI to increase efficiency and scalability.

  • Manage resource allocation and project prioritization to meet competing deadlines and business objectives across the team's global content responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary strategic ambassador for the content team within the APAC region, building strong, collaborative relationships with Sales, Account Management, Solutions Consulting, and Product teams.

  • Translate regional market needs and customer feedback into actionable insights for the global content and product strategy.

  • Effectively communicate content capabilities, project timelines, and complex subject matter to both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and drive business goals.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 7+ years of professional experience with at least 3+ years in a people management role, preferably leading leaders or senior individual contributors.

  • Proven track record of managing large-scale, distributed operations teams in a global environment.

  • Demonstrated expertise in process optimization, quality management frameworks, and driving operational efficiency at scale.

  • Exceptional leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing talent at all levels.

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build consensus and partnerships across a matrixed organization.

  • Strategic mindset with outstanding business acumen and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Must be a quick learner, capable of rapidly assimilating complex operational and subject matter details to make an immediate impact.

  • Experience in the trade compliance, customs, logistics, or supply chain industry.

  • Experience managing data-centric or content operations.

  • Familiarity with applying AI/ML concepts to enhance data processing and operational workflows.

  • Experience working for a global B2B technology or information services company.
