Job Title:
Senior Manager, Global Supplier Management Process

Role Overview:
The position will lead the strategy and implementation of global supplier management process, including relevant strategy building, digital tool and strategy deployment. The position needs to work together with both supply chain internal peers and also with other non-supply chain function stakeholders to ensure the process and strategy have continuous improvement and meet the business need.

On a typical day you will:

Strategic Process Ownership

  • Develop and lead the global strategy for supplier management processes, tools, and frameworks.
  • Drive deployment, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement of these processes across regions.

Global Supplier Onboarding

  • Lead the deployment of the global supplier onboarding process (iDOT) from the SCM COE.
  • Ensure process compliance and performance through regular monitoring and reporting.

Supplier Risk Management

  • Oversee the deployment of the global new supplier risk management process (ProcessUnity).
  • Conduct regular risk assessments of the existing supply base.
  • Coordinate the use of third-party risk assessment tools (e.g., Rapid Ratings, D&B, Everstream).

Supplier Master Data Management

  • Lead the establishment and deployment of the global supplier master database (Global Vendor MDH).
  • Drive continuous improvement in data structure, quality, and integration with digital applications.

Supplier Champion List

  • Maintain and regularly update the global supplier champion list, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Supplier Performance Management

  • Co-own supplier performance management in collaboration with cross-functional teams (e.g., Supplier Quality).

Subject Matter Expertise & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the Supply Chain SME for all areas above, ensuring effective internal communication and external stakeholder collaboration.

Budget & Training

  • Manage budget planning and expense control for all related processes.
  • Develop training materials and lead communication, rollout, and engagement activities—either directly or with third-party support.

What You Will Need to be Successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management/ engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 14+ years of relevant experience.
  • Previous experience with developing and implementing a supplier third-party risk management program in a global organization
  • Experience with performance measurement and program management of gap closure activities
  • Experience launching, communicating, and providing training for new initiatives to a large global organization
  • Experience with analyzing data and presenting concepts to executives
  • A global mindset and intercultural communication experience gained through international assignments or working in a global company
  • Ability to perform well in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
  • Strong program and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Preferred: Advanced degree (MBA, MS in Supply Chain, etc.) with global supply chain or supplier management focus.
  • Certifications (optional): Professional certifications such as APICS CPIM/CSCP, ISM CPSM, or Six Sigma are a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
